That E30 vette engine 🤯 I have a soft spot for the E30 as it is. But that engine was just mental. The standard of cars did not disappoint, I was a very cool event and extremely local, be rude not to 🤣

@@nickproofcertified defiantly not mate. As the previous owner of an e30 when they were cheap. There a great fun car to drive love the difference of cars there 👍

Thanks bud, really enjoyed capturing this event a little differently, like we said focusing on the one off cars more instead of the generic walk round. I believe there were 400 cars expected, wicked location very close to home that was awesome, be rude not to 😉 If I had to choose a fave id probably go with thae E30 with the vette engine. What a menace that would be! (And the neighbours would love me even more 😉)

The original engine and remote box are at 4:33. unfortunately nil compression. There is a 998 A+ in there at the moment until I have time to dig into the 850

@@nickproofcertified The long aluminium extension on the remote boxes acts as a big lever, pretty much stopping all the problems of bent SU jets seen on later rod change cars with anything less than brand new mounts and steady bushes. Be nice to get the 998A+ on the original box, rather than downgrade back to the 850.

Thanks J Possibly worn, far as I know it’s the original subframe. An auto subframe would suggest why the engine is 10mm to low. But the front crossmember is straight, no step out to clear the gearbox 🤷‍♂️ I’m in progress of sourcing another twin bolt subframe to measure up against, Definitely a winter project to rebuild the front end. I want to put her back to hydro-elastic, put cones in as the reservoir turned to ginger dust 🤣
