2021 Ford F150 Hard Tonneau Cover by REV - Using Fordpass points
In this video I want to show you guys the REV industries bed cover that I installed on my 2021 F-150. This is a genuine Ford accessory and I used FordPass points from purchasing the truck to partially cover the cost. It’s very similar to a Bakflip G2. I hope this is informational and everyone enjoys the video. Hit that like button, please subscribe, and turn on the bell notifications so you'll know the next time I upload. Thanks!

มุมมอง 27K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is a video of the MBRP Installer Series catback system I installed on my 2021 F150 5.0. I have played this video back using headphones and it captures the audio really well. I hope this video helps you guys in making your decision on what exhaust you choose to go with. I hope you all enjoy and thanks for watching. Do you have part number?
Is this a 3" or 4" exhaust video?
@@miketrujeque1329 3” with a 4” tip
Sorry mines made by back flip but same construction but I have to close my tailgate first that’s a pain like your for that
I have this cover on my ram
How is the gas mileage since you put on the cover
@@MrRockyko it’s only noticeable on a long trip. Just a few miles per gallon.
@@TheRecreationLodge yeah mine also
I want one with 5.0 crew cab heated seats with power my pup oh and 360 camera power back window for my pup
Was wondering is it a dual exit driver side and passenger side because your video shows it running only with the passenger side
@@peterscott2097 single exit passenger side
Me too. I was Chevy for years. Recently tried Rams, which I did like. The E torque turned me off with its potential problems of the battery pack and electric motor replacing the alternator.. so I traded for a ‘24 Ford XLT with the 5 liter, trailering package, and off road package. The MPG’s is great for a truck this big. So far, I love it.
@@davidd1395 I really like mine. I see E torque, powerboost, and a turbo V6 as a failure point that will cost money to fix. I just have to stick with natural aspiration when it comes to a vehicle
Mbrp 3 inch or 4 inch?? Factory Ford is 3
@@brandonmacon3317 3 inch with a 4 inch tip
What gears you running?
@@brandonmacon3317 331
I’m still running a 2011 F150 with the 1st gen Coyote 5.0. 143k miles and 0 problems up to this point. Best truck I’ve owned so far.
I’ve been looking at the same truck but with just the super cab . How are you feeling now a days about the truck and its reliability?
@@grandmastert01 I have had zero issues with the truck. A lot of people told me the 5.0 has oil consumption issues but I have seen none with mine. I have 35k miles on it and get it changed every 5k
@@TheRecreationLodge ok thank you very much for the info
Even over video this sounds fantastic. I'm looking into buying one of these trucks, my first Ford, and this video is pushing me over to the 5.0, haha.
I think 14th ford F150 suspension is better than peers
Great video, so helpful
I just put this on my 23 f150 5.0 and man I didn’t know the cylinder deactivation would be so bad it drones like a helicopter ughhhhh if it was for that. Gotta run tow haul 24/7 or hear that terrible sound
Chevy guys held onto their ford acronyms for too long. It was only a matter of time before they realized which is actually the better truck. Welcome to the family!
2021 Ford F-150 XLT, 2,790 miles
Beautiful truck, I have a lowly 23 XL, but it gets the job done, my 2nd XL with the tiny 2.7 Ecoboost, first 94 k 6 years and not a single problem, quick strong and quite, that my only complaint you can’t hear it at all! Sometimes through at the bank drive thru or Tudors and I can hear the Turbos a lil bit. Great video and I hope it’s a great truck for you, I don’t wanna see nobody have bad luck out of their rig no matter the brand.
Greetings from Frankfort brother , just got my 22 f150 with the yote 💪🏽
How many miles do you have right now? Any issues at all?
@@zemo2332 just over 32k. No issues at all.
Chevy 1500 motor mounts suk, as does the AFM/DFM.
I’ve been a lifelong Chevy guy myself recently traded for an F150 one of the best decisions I ever made.
Just ordered one for my 2017 f150 looking forward to getting it on.
Because your a dummy
Nice review, thanks
Does this exhaust system with the resonator or no resonator?
With resonator
I own a 96 GMC 1500, a 2006 Dodge 3500 5.9 cummins and as of a couple days ago I now own a 2021 F150 in Iconic Silver just like yours. The 5.0 is what did it for me though, these engines are bullet proof, sound great, feel great, and the added torque means I can say goodbye to the cummins. I also just like the way the F150s look over the competition.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. The power difference between the GM 5.3 and the Ford 5.0 is almost comical. The comfort of the seats and overall feel of the interior was also a big selling point for me
I guess I’m switching to ford 🤷🏻♂️
Another good reaso n to switch for me at least is that Ford did mot take bailout from the government. Dodge and GM did.
Great video. Can you remove the cover entirely so that it doesn't block the window?
You can take those two carriage style bolts out and take the cover off without removing the rails.
Great video Brother Thanks 👊🏾
Gorgeous looking truck
Thanks
Thank you
Looks great, do you have the part # of the one you purchased?
No sorry I don’t have the part number
Great video. Should the spay in bed liner be done before the cover is in stalled?
I suppose it wouldn’t really matter. You would have to remove it though to get the spray in liner done then reinstall
@@TheRecreationLodge thanks. How difficult is the cover to remove? Looking at one on the lot that already has it installed from the factory but I’d want spray in bed liner.
@@hunterbrown910 just a couple of bolts. It’s not bad at all
@@TheRecreationLodge thank you!
Love this for the same reason you do- Prefer a smoother, less raspy, deep sound. This is the only one I've heard that does that. May drone more than something like the Corsa would, but I want that nice smooth burbly sound.
My 2020 Silverado 5.3 is a big lemon. I’ve had it since new, 6k miles cracked head, 9k miles cracked head, new engine block, ~18k miles computer died, ~22k miles and the front right wheel bearing grinded when turning right. 31k miles and the screen is black when starting sometimes. With my warranty now out, I’m hopping ship. A sad thing because I’ve driven Chevy all my life. I appreciate your review.
Does the Ford 5.0 have cylinder deactivation like Chevy’s AFM/DOD crapola junk?
Look into getting a oil catch can.
What’s that ?
Nice truck! What’s the window tint percent on your front side windows? Looks good
20%
🦍
Just got one too
How hard are these to install?
It’s fairly simple. Just a couple of bolts to tighten down
@@TheRecreationLodge Does this drain require drilling holes in the bed to install?
Newer chevys interior are God awful.
GM has better 2500/3500 diesels. Ford makes better 1500 trucks.
Sounds good. I prefer the raw sound of the Flowmaster super 10, even against borla and corsa. Flowmaster super 10 is just raw forever.
When folded up does it block the rear camera that gives you a view of the bed??
Mine isn’t equipped with that camera so I can’t really answer that.
Welcome to the ford family
Even the powder coated frame will rust all to hell , it will last way longer than the GM frame ....you can stop this if you start using fluid film or an equivalent within the first year or two of ownership......you can do it yourself but its a messy job....if youre near a big city you can find shops that apply it for a few hundred bucks then do annual reapplications for about $100.....you can do the reapplication every kther year but id just do it every year...
