Hey. Please check the collision on the mesh.
Is the ANS functions same as Slow motion ANS ?
Yes. Some what similar. Made for some custom logic. Speed based on distance and time.

It’s not a loco system. It’s a combat system.

Pressed is triggered when you press the button and Released is triggered when you release the button.

4.17? Thats a very old engine version to use. I don’t know what things might be different since its been a long time since I have used that version.

@@unrealnoob72 I've been working on my first multiplayer game for a while, in Unity 5. I use fisnet and some custom scripts to make 3D movement deterministic. This allows me to cheaply resimulate the gamestate serverside despite having characters who move like fighter jets but freely in five directions. It's a fucking slog. I cannot wait for Unity 6 to get a bit further along.

This is looking pretty awesome! As I'm following, it seems like my character only leaps to enemies that are child blueprints to the original third person blueprint and not enemies that I created manually. Hoping that is fixed as the tutorials progress fingers crossed
You can change which would be targeted. I have specifically made them to be child of a single parent class
It’s not a bug that only its child bp are targeted. I am pretty sure it has a sphere overlap actor that finds the enemies. You can change the filter object and actor class filter array to target whatever enemies you want.

It’s a tutorial series. If you watch it, you will know what to change. It’s not a marketplace asset.

hey great tutorial man, how would the ai be able to stun the player? and If I wanted multiplayer how would players stun each other?
Multiplayer would be different. You can just add a knife throw on AI and on hit it would disable input for the player and then after a timer it would enable input for the player.

I've recently made a hash and slash combat mechanism, and now I'm looking to add a free flow system. Will this tutorial be helpful?
It works as a freeflow. I mean without checking your code it’s hard to say but if you take the time to understand my code and logic. It shouldn’t be a problem.

@user-pq8gv9zd8k its caused by not checking the enemy value from the enemy to pounce function. From the output put a isvalid check
One thing I would like to see is the multiple enemies counter/takedown. Sometimes batman is defending against more than one, and the montages just flow so smoothly.
That is the plan in the future. It would require mocap anims. It would require quite an investment from my side to get the desired anims. Once my channel grows, will have them added. :)

Hey, where you put your files is upto you. It's just a general practice to put items in proper folder structure for easy access. For animations, you can use any animation that works with the rig.

Sorry to bother you again, but when I create BP_Player and try to play camera only rotated when I am running. When I am standing camera does not rotate. Also Can I use BP_ThirdPerson as my main character?
