MICHAELS BEST AND MOST POWERFUL VID, IMO❤
It's really amazing. We hope you enjoyed our reaction :)
what now my love live from aloha from hwai live 1973,the pure power and feeling in his voice, Elvis is not 1 of the greatest preformers ,he is the greatest. 😂
We already have a reaction video for that on that channel. Just search "Elvis" on our channel, we have a ton of videos for him :)
Terrible Elvis movies? No, your video is terrible! Maybe you should do your homework before commenting on a song he performed with passion right after the assassination of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King. The Ghetto was also performed with passion to bring awareness to that situation. Elvis fans know all his history, you my airheads are no Elvis fans.
My favourite is a combination hybrid that I'm building my collection on: your own personal harddrive of music ripped from the original physical media. All the space saving advantages of streaming with all the full media / lack of legal removals that physical media has. OK ripping an LP is quite a task, but I gather if you are going to listen to it anyway, why not record a version for your digital library?
That's certainly fair. That's kimd of how I'm approaching listening nowadays, a combination of both.
Get that smelly pos mutant dog out of there. He ruined it.
… There are many good singers... but ELVIS is the „💎“ Diamond among them!! A Singer for eternity !! 🕺🏻🕯 Thank you
We absolutely love Elvis, we hope you enjoyed our reaction :)
1st
Thanks for watching and dropping the 1st comment :)
My favorite performance
I saw him in 1973 in St Louis. Still the best concert I have ever seen.
Oh wow that is so awesome that you got to see him live!
You made me smile. Thank you for knowing what I mean.
@@InfectiousGroovePodcast I wish you could have felt the pure energy there. We literally never sat down through the entire concert. And love!
@CS-mv3nw that is so great to hear. We're glad you got to experience that!
The only thing I don't like about the 2016 reissue of "Atom Heart Mother" is that it doesn't have the endless faucet drip at the end of side B. I guess the people in charge of the reissue (and lots of people, in general) consider it a triviality, but true collectors and fans definitely appreciate those "easter eggs". P.S.: BTW, I'm part of the minority who loves "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast". Maybe my ASMR has to do with it.
That's a fair point about the faucet. In the interest of full disclosure, I wasn't even aware of the endless faucet bit. I agree with you that if it was there to begin with, it should be on the reissue.
LOVE Bruce!! brings back my teenage years!! Always puts a big smile on my face! Clarence is the BOMB!!! 10th AVENUE FREEZE OUT is my all time fav .. has special meaning! also I'M ON FIRE!! Unbelievable he's still touring!!❣❣
I (Russ) am so glad Lauren showed me this performance!
Haha, I've never heard this one before. Not a big fan at all, but he's pretty good.
Russ had never heard this one till Lauren suggested it. It's a great performance!
u need to check out more of Bruce's music!! i call it the Jersey sound!!😁
@@flipz4398 I know a good amount from Born In The USA on but I only know singles and a few other things from before that. I'm not opposed to it at all, just need to listen to more. Thankfully Lauren is well versed in that era of Bruce so she'll help me out :)
Great song.great singer.
@@howardcohen3685 yes, of course! We hope you enjoyed our reaction video :)
I have to say that I have only started digging deep into the Elvis catalog in the last couple of years and I was shocked by how much I LOVE Elvis of the 70s. Previously, I had always said, "I like Elvis, just not 70s Elvis." However, having listened to more of his 70s catalog, I am now obsessed with 70s Elvis. I am convinced that his greatest sin (as far as most critics go) was gaining weight. When I read reviews of his 70s albums I expected to hear absolute crap. But that did not match what I heard when I actually listened. It seems that critics/journalists/commentators can forgive his prescription drug abuse, they can overlook his preference for young girls, but they make fun of and ridicule his appearance in the last two or three years of his life as if it diminished his entire existence. Thank you for this video. ❤🎶❤
@@GrumpyFlyr1995 thanks for the great comment!! I can't remember if I mentioned this in the video, but I started in reverse from most fans. My mom loved his 70s stuff, so that's what I grew up on. So I heard a to of all of that before ever going back to listen to the stuff the rest of the world knows lol. Having said that, you're totally right IMO. So many people write the 70s off because that's the narrative in general. Thanks for watching and thank you again for such a great comment :)
Bad has a more commercial sound than Thriller if that makes sense.
That makes total sense to me. Thanks for watching and for the comment :)
I did enjoy the album but most likely won’t listen to it again for a while. It did make me go back and dig out his first 3 albums
That's fair. I really do think I'll revisit this one though, which is something I haven't done with many of his albums over the past decade or so.
Hahahahahahahaha this movie rocks so hard
We absolutely agree!
Thank you to everyone who is enjoying our #Elvis #reaction videos and a special thank you to those who leave positive / constructive comments :)
Amara is a Joji (sp?) fan. She talks about him all the time and I guess still listens to him.
Being old, I (Russ) haven't listened to him much but I've heard the Frank character was what was offensive.
@@InfectiousGroovePodcast that's probably why she likes him TBH LOL
@@trishasmith506 hahaha that story checks out!
i'm the friend that posted about it, Hi! It's me. LOL
It was you! You were also the same person who wanted to discuss it after several listens. Thanks for that! :)
🥰🥰🥰
What do you think about the latest about from #Eminem ?
Pls pause to speak

@@stege9979 haha, her name is Bella Donna and yep, she loves Elvis :)
Thank you for reacting to the King. If you continue listening to this voice, you will find the GOAT.
We love Elvis. We have many more reactions and videos about him on our channel as well :)
I've always loved this song by him since it first came out. Humans really take nature for granted. If they keep on destroying Earth the way they are, there will be nothing left.. No food, water, shelter, nature, clean air.. This planet is the only home we have - stop destroying it. 🤕🌍🌎🌏 As for me: Instead of throwing away things like soda cans just to be dumped into landfills, I like to use them to grow my veggie / fruit seeds in, as well as other plants. They make great containers.. We can easily recycle every day objects for a greater good if we put forth the effort. 👍
We agree. I (Russ) was about 20 years old when Earth Song was released. Honestly, the amount Michael cared about the Earth was the only reason I started to care about the planet at that age.
@@InfectiousGroovePodcast I was around 14 when this song came out. I just loved its' power and emotion.. Every time the video came on tv, I made a dash to the tv to watch it, and I got the album mainly for this song. ☺
@LN_Six_Pennywise_Fnaf that's cool. It's such a great song. I'm sure you can tell from this video but we love Michael. We have a lot of MJ videos on our channel with more on the way :)
@@InfectiousGroovePodcast The parts with the dolphins especially hit home for me.. For years, I've always had a dream to pet a dolphin, and last year, my aunt and grandma made that dream come true. I am so happy to have had that amazing experience. The dolphin was so clever and sweet. 😍💖🐬
I think it was considered political because it seemed inspired by Dr. King If I Can Dream speech
I personally love his movies and still watch them over and over again still to this day.
We hope you enjoyed the rest of the reactions outside of that one point :)
8:50 Michael’s showing he won’t be knocked down.
The shot of the 2 babys on top of the world always brings a tear to my eye.
Totally agree!
I cant believe that in all the reaction videos no one mentioned how out of breath he was at the end thats how much he put in it, and by the way the movies were fantastic so many amazing songs were a result of the movies thats the power of them, ELVIS said he didnt enjoy the movies at the end, however he didnt live long enough to realize them or the significance of them in his life...As you get older you reflect and im sure making movies with beautiful people and singing songs isnt too bad at all. I worked in a ships wash room and hated it, but 30 years later I looked back fondly at that time thats what age and maturity does to you, sadly he couldnt do that, so god bless ELVIS AND THE MOVIES.
It's so interesting to us that on a reaction video for a song about unity and understanding, so many people have chosen to pick one tiny negative thing and focus on that. Hopefully you able to find some joy from the entire rest of the video :)
Yes. Truly the greatest. Only imagine if he didn't have those problems
Elvis sang this song because at the time we had the Vietnam war, rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr and Bobby Kennedy assassinations which they watched on the news during production.
Yes, we're aware off that. We hope you enjoyed our reaction :)
Don't agree ALL of his movies were bad. Compared to what? Doris Day in Pillow Talk? Beach Blanket Bingo? Gidget? You should read about how Elvis felt about racism and injustice. Steve Binder wrote at length about it. Elvis did not want to always protest in his work. He called himself an entertainer. But, when he felt passionately about something, he did sing about it; specifically with Walk a Mile in His Shoes, In The Ghetto and If I Can Dream.
The comment about his movies was a very small part of a much longer, fun video. It's odd to me that anyone is focusing on one tiny aspect of the video that they see as a negative. We're curious what you thought of the overall point Lauren was making with regard to his movies. Also, we have absolutely no idea why you would think we aren't educated regarding Elvis' thoughts on racism. Did we say something that made you think we don't appreciate how great Elvis was in that respect? These are genuine questions as I'm truly puzzled by your comment.
Can you please play please forgive me by Bryan Adams.thank you Vonnie ❤❤❤❤please
We will put it on our list! We have many reaction videos already shot and scheduled but we will get to it :)
Simply the most charismatic, cool, handsome, talented man ever. Hello from Australia. 💕🇦🇺
We totally agree, we love Elvis! We hope you enjoyed our reaction :)
I am a fan since 1956 when I was 12. Now 80, there isn't A time in my life when I have stop listening to him. His gospel, his rock, his country, there is nothing he doesn't to well. He was ill most of his life inherited Alpha 1 condition from his mother and her two brothers who all died in their middle 40's of heart disease, Liver disease, and lung problem. Gladys' parents were first cousins. Elvis was the survivor who lost his twin brother at birth. He has a twisted colon, but there wasn't money for doctors. By the time Elvis was in his middle twenties he had emergency surgery to save his right eye from blindness. In the book "Destined to Die Young" by Sally Hoedel, she said Elvis took too many prescription drugs, the stumped doctors knew nothing about Alpha one and gave him pain medicine uppers and downers. His immune system was week, he had bad insomnia and was a sleep walker falling twice with serious head injuries. By his early 30's he was having liver problems and was hospitalized 3 times in one hear. He didn't want anyone to know especially his fans. He thought he could self medicate. His liver was falling and he was given steroids and pain killers. In 1975 in the presence of Hair dresser Larry Geller Elvis survives a heart attack. He swears Geller to silence. Like his mother Elvis health is in free fall the last 3 years of his life. His hands, face and belly bloat and his skin is pale and pasty. His Liver is not filtering out toxins. We have 11 body systems and 9 of his were completely blocked. He is suppose to start in Maine on another tour. The early morning of August 16 at 1:am he plays a short game of racket ball with cousin Billy. He goes to bed and wakes up later and goes to the bathroom and is reading "The Shroud of Turin" has a heart attack falls toward and dies. Sally Hoedel said had he never taken a drug he would have still died in his 40's like his mom and her 2 brothers. Thanks, I subbed.
Thank you for those detailed thoughts. Russ was only 2 when Elvis passed away but Elvis has had a profound impact on his entire life :)
Thank you for sharing knowledge on elvis and defending his legacy!
This is the cleaned up version - the original car windows that MJ smashed featured racial epithets and symbols - hence why he smashed them. You can still find that version online. This video was deemed "very controversial" when it was released because the media and tabloids focused on his crotch-grabbing, claimed he was simulating masturbation when dancing on the car, and glorifying vandalism. Insane take away.
Hopefully we've made it more than clear how much we do disagree with the way the media treated Michael Jackson.
Love that your keeping Elvis’s music alive ❤

The last Pink Floyd lp I bought. As I recall I didn't enjoy it as much as Ummagumma and so I gave up on PF. No real regrets if I'm honest.
That's interesting. They have so much fantastic music that was released long after this album. To each their own of course, though :)
It was kind of a protest song. The Red scarf symbolized the blood shed in blood from Vietnam War. It was hopeful but there was still turbulence between whites and blacks....this was after MLK and RFK had been assassinated
Yes, this and songs like In The Ghetto were excellent songs of social consciousness. We hope you enjoyed our reaction :)
