what about proportions....we're in 2024 Nov2nd...right before the election....I think the politicians want to pin the outcome of the stock market on the results knowing what's coming regardless but is that last leg long enough in proportion to the rest of the pattern on the supercycle? to me it looks short.

I think we have an ending diagonal starting from 3120. So 1 of V ended at 64k. 72k was A of ABC of 3 of V. Let's see. So my retracement level for wave B of 3 of V (to go long) is 34k.

If Wave three top was the 1929 market top before the crash, wave four the correction into 1949, you are saying that wave 5 extends from 1949 up until today? I thought that Wave 3 was the largest of the impulse waves? Your count makes wave 5 to be a massive impulsive wave, far outpacing Wave 3.

Deficit spending, unemployment figures rising, fed cutting rates, yields inverting, yen carry trade... fifth wave complete or not, everything is teetering on the edge of a chasm.

This is basically robert prechters wave count. Im super thrilled how this will play out( well not rlly itll get real ugly in our lifes, but tradingwise). I think for the sp500 theres going to be another high i count the last move a 1,2. Maybe a shallow ending diagonal to 5800sh. After that... well see. 1929 wave a went 44% down from september to november. Funny enough this years moon cycles are exactly the same as 1929.

Splendid analysis. Completely changed my perspective on LTFs. However, I think you are just way too bearish and it’s clouding your count. Robert Prechter himself had an immensely bearish count starting this bull run and has been proven completely wrong. While there are rules to Elliot waves it is a system to measure market psychology. The psychology is not accounted for in this count.
