Went for a short hike to practice the decent or the fish river canyon Day one start. Distance was only 2.6Km and elevation gain is 175m. Slow Hike took 50min moving time. We hiked the 5km trail with the kids. Moving time as about 1H20. Kept it slow for the kids and completed the hike in about 3 hours. taking regular rests.

This is our experience of the FRC. First time for most of us. Was a great hike and tried to give a video of then full trip. Giving you a good idea of what to expect.
Formed by seismic activity, not erosion as so many erroneously believe.
