I grew up with JP at a very young age. My older brother introduced me to this album back in 1974. This is the early great years of JP and Rob Halford amazing lyrics and music ❤️🤘
I have never been a huge Judas Priest fan... somehow never got to check out their entire discography, so my knowledge of them was limited to their "hits". Run of the Mill song just blew me away! The lyrics, the vocals - astonishing! I'm going to dig for all of their early albums!
Rocka Rolla was such a brilliant album that should never have been lost in the Priest juggernaut catalogue. It's got a great mix of light, medium and heavy material on it. I think a big problem was that the album was marketed by absolute stunned F's at Gull Records in 1974. They put pictures on the inside of straws in a glass of Coke as if they were trying to entice kids to a sock hop! Even the cool ripoff of Coca Cola concept was made kind of bland... I suspect this may have contributed to the band rapidly distancing themselves from this great work. The entire album was voided from their live sets until Halford's rejoining the band in the 2000s and only "Never Satisfied" was played. The brilliant Rocka Rolla track was never played live between 1977 and 2020!
Russian version of what people did for everyone Yes, the translation is very accurate! So we will understand each other more Yes, I'm sorry I got in with my cockroaches in my head, sorry Yes, it's played by one person..........
Yes, and they also had the song Mother son, which was not included in any album ... you love Priest so much .......... th-cam.com/video/2oR2NbN9ep0/w-d-xo.html

I wish I could hear Freddie Mercury try to cover this...not sh.t ing on him but Rob is opera God on the end of this.
one of the best songs of all time
Depressing- my father is 87
Ego……… vanishes…… into darkness! The Black Sun Carrie’s away the weak soul into oblivion…and of course the song title backs up the “Bible” here…. Smh

I hear Ted Nugent, Pink Floyd styles throughout this wonderful song of that time.

Damn, why hasn't anyone made a proper video for one of the most fucking songs of the priests yet
I can say this is the only song everytime i listen to it...make me cry and so empty inside
Insanely good song on so many levels and so over looked,.......love it
the buildup is masterful
Unpopular opinion : I think it's just as good as stairway to heaven
Os vocais nessa música são viciantes.
I never knew the lyrics to this song that I've been listening to since the 70s🤔🤔🤔👍👌
