Brienzerseelauf Half Marathon 2024: Epic views

Signed up for a final half marathon to wrap up the year. Brienzersee looks beautiful, is nearby and I haven't been to the area, so why not? As expected for a autumn run, it was going to be chilly and foggy, but therein lies the mood and atmosphere.

in Aug 2023, we attempted our first via ferrata, going from Murren to Gimmelwald. First, we rented out gear from one of the many shops in the region, thereafter we took the gondola up to Murren. Last long run before Zurich Marathon, optimizing and tweaking the littlelest things. - trying without earphones, so don't need to manage music, playlist, batteries, storage etc. - shoes need to be tightened further - gel every 1 hour will be enough, with 1 x tailwind Now for the tapering of mileage 2 weeks for recovery and recharging strength.

4 weeks to Zurich Marathon means spring time weather that should be easier on me. I attempt a 2 hour 15 min run at 6:10/km pace, and Jael too attempts a 1 hour 30 mins run. 24 March 2024
