@@Randomyoutubecommenter I can’t prove anything to you but I can tell you that I used to believe that and He showed me how wrong I was. Temporary life is full of destruction that numbs you to the idea of anything greater than carnality but when you’re forced to look into the abyss and consider mortality you lose sight of those distractions. When I finally let go of those distractions and cried out to God for help He answered me in a very real way that’s hard to articulate for me but it changed my life dramatically. Things followed that moment that are hard for me to explain because they are hard for people to believe. I’ve had dreams, visions and miracles that have followed me and turned my faith into a true belief. God is real and that can seem terrifying when your holding onto life so tightly but when your letting go it’s a comfort. I truly believe we will all give an account for our lives and receive a righteous judgement and if that is true it’s the only thing we’ll have in the end, an account for what we’ve done.

The final verse contradicts everything said before it. Why should we fear God and keep his commandments, and likewise fear the judgement that comes with it, if life is meaningless in the first place and nothing is new under the sun?
@@BarabbasTheRedeemed Temporal life, the point is that no matter what you gain in this life you will lose it in the end and be left with nothing but the account of the life you lived on the day of judgement. Life is a short temporary moment that will echo into eternity based upon the judgment of the Lord. This wouldn’t make sense without the promise of a resurrection through Jesus Christ and a final day of judgement.
