Rotring 600 definitely feels rock solid. If you want a lighter solid pencil, try pentel graph 1000 (not graphgear 1000). I took pages of calculus and algebra annotations for hours with rotring 600, but never felt any kind of discomfort related to its weight.
9:16 Tip about the click noise: press and keep pressed the back button while releasing the clip. I do this to prevent lead breakage due to the impact and to extend the lifespan of inner components
Rotring not from japan they are from Germany.
The tweeers are excellent for really small ticks.
Love this video, I enjoy several Rotring mechanical pencils.
Unfortunately the strap does suffer from delamination.
Thanks. I have a protrek prw-30… is better than the PRW-35?
Very nice >>>>>> Thank you .
Just won one on eBay for £75!! Absolute bargain
Just ordered the new gws5600u-1. Got the ole gwm5610u
Hi...can you do a full review like you did here of a casio mtg g1000d please. This video is excellent.
En utvecklad och bra recension! Fortsätt så 👌 Märkte att du pratar svenska 😄
Están locos ! Así de simple
Lunacy. Graphite WAS mixed with binder material, in the factory 🏭 You must lay down enough material to get a fine layer of graphite deposited on to the paper.
thumbs up for cm!
Thanks for the tutorial in compass mode:)
When was Parker Jotter pencil introduced??
Vey informative! Thanks!
Looks like a unique essential every day pocket/key chain carry! Ty!
Didn’t thought that it‘s so exactly. Great review. Thanks 👍
Mine is different (2024), no moving mechanism outside.
Amazing. The demonstration of each tool was great!
What is your favourite Casio Timex Seiko
First time I saw it, I bought it about 5 seconds later!!
14:40 bu adam gördüğüm en tatli 8 i çiziyor 😅😂
When I saw this plastic inside rapidpro Go to 800
Hi, does yours say "Casio Thailand" on the clasp?
Haven't 'Wenger' and 'Victorinox' been part of the same company for about 20 years? Until then the Swiss army had an agreement to buy equal numbers of utility knives from a company in German speaking Switzerland (Wenger) and France speaking Switzerland (victorinox) and then the French speaking company bought the German speaking one. Since then I thought Wenger were a brand in the victorinox catalogue so to speak
Im my opinion not great, bought a year ago and was disappointed maybe a good pencil for some but one of the worst out there
This video really helped me see the differences and specs. Great work! I will check out the other vids before I choose :)
Surprised no one mentioned the scissors’ spring was broken!
Just ordered a rotring 800. Have never used anything other than cheap almost disposable mechanical pencils, so can't wait to try something proper! I study graphic design, and commute every day, so the retractable tip seemed like a must for me
You don't have to say "5 comma 7" when measuring. Just say "5 point 7" just for future reference.
Thanks, it's a problem of using the metric system in my mother tongue and the current one, where also decimals are separated by a comma.
@@m.a.s.engineeringgadgets4867 well, as someone whose mother tongue is English: we don't say "comma" in either case. If it's 3.4 we'll say "three point four". No one says "comma". Even Americans don't say it and they're famous for being stupid 👍
Between these two pencils, which would you recommend for figure drawing? I'm trying to be an artist, any help here would be greatly appreciated thanks.
IMHO 800 is sturdier. Not sure if it has spring inside. I think it’s just some kind of threading.
I got my GW-S5600-1JF today and see some differences. Mine has a standard backlight. You can clearly see that it lights up from the side. And on the long strap there isnt any text spelling * GW-S5600 shock resistant* theres only *shock resistant* and below the line *carbon fiber insert construction*. Im wondering why that is and if there are different types of GW-5600. I hope I bought no fake, altough I highly doubt that it can be faked easily anyway.
In my research the newer ones use an LED.
Very nice review
Oye buffoon, the stainless steel body only slips when you're wearing cotton gloves DOH!!
I had this Minichamp for about 10 years.... Great keychain size tools...
Thanks for this video friend! I'm interested in this watch from almost 6.years and today I got a chance to purchase. Functionalities aside, I love the design and the Solar ability. What's your opinion on getting it as of today?
I carry a sewing needle pre threaded and wound around it under the orange peeler and emergency blade. I wear my mini champ on a lanyard around my neck for edc. It keeps it really handy.
Great review man!!! 👍👍👍 I have seen a lot of channels where people wear white cotton gloves when reviewing victorinox knives Why?
Fantastic and very detailed Review! Thanks You!
33:01 thank you for mentioning the bezel, its not the best but just enough for coordinating, better use digital when navigation like you mentioned
The wire bender is not a wire bender. It's a wire stripper.
is there any way to polish the straps from scratches?
You can try a polishing paste for plastics. But don't use a machine, just a towel and your fingers.
800 is more stylish & both will last a lifetime :-) I have a the 600 (black) which Rotring itself gave me :-) God bless Rotring.
Exactly! Great quality stuff
I think the 800 is a great product, it started as the 600 retractable, as a way to make it pocket safe and fit for portability, without worrying about damaging the tip. I really like both of them
Thanks for your comment! Do you feel it differently on the hand? Somehow I like the feeling of the 800 better, like I can swing it better while writing. The 600 I feel it's too compact, too solid.
Rapid pro’s grip is like a file so I tried to use it cut note that was sewed to jeans and it worked perfectly, also it can be used as nail file
Hahah exactly! I tried it myself too.
Just bought one, it doesn't was my first option, as i find some uses redundant, i was looking for the manager or the rambler, but curiously both were more expensive than the minichamp 😅 , anyway you make look to the cuticle thing in a different way, but the ruler with the small screwdriver and the file should be just one use and let space for something new
I can agree with you. There are things that are redundant or do not differ that much. I think Victorinox should review their designs. On the other hand, you can split the use among the similar tools to reduce wear. But what I love about the Minichamp is the hook. It's so sharp, you can tear anything with it.
