Personally, I really like this game

SADX and SA2B were my childhood on GameCube. I think about these games constantly and still return to my chao garden every so often. I will go to my grave begging for a SA3 with chao garden

SA1 is in my top 3 Sonic games. It still holds up as an amazing Sonic game after all these years. I sure hope that a remake of this game with enhanced graphics on current gen consoles and with new voice acting. Nice vid man! 👍

The biggest problem is there is no way to break a combo from the middle of the stage at the very start. Its whoever lands the first move they win easily that stock. Im pretty good at this game but people keep abusing the infinite combos making it not fun to play. The air dodging needs a buff.

I feel like the silent killer of this game is the bad switch port Pretty much everyone who's gonna be playing this game is a smash player and 90% of humans don't own two modern consoles so having a switch port with more performance issues than its already buggy counterparts definitely shot it in the foot

I can’t even get past the game since it’s very hard to beat Patrick when he got mind controlled in story mode. So yeah, it’s that bad.

Problem is that many bought into the hype of the first one, and was really disappointed. Then this was one announced not soon after and it was a slap to the face of the people who bought the first one.

The publisher already had a bad reputation from the first game Players were burned a Lot and the first game has a reputation for being very mashy, and you can see it on comments on the Steam Store. Also, about when this game released, there's also SF6 and MK One being announced. I don't know how they thought they could compete
