I say also go to BBB (better business bureau) and file a complaint… usually that gets the attention of the management.. I have had Best Buy screw me up for an open box Apple Watch and they refuse to take it back when it was already linked to someone’s email.. I posted a review on BBB and got my refund in less than a day. Almost $400. I’m going to cancel my vehicle warranty as well which they said would help with APR and bank would give a better rate if warranty is added. Hopefully I don’t have to take the longer route
On 1-11-25 I went to Criswell Dodge Jeep Ram of Thurmont MD because of a sales posting showing thousands off of MSRP. The MSRP they showed the discount on was the Final Price of the vehicle on the Maroni Sticker which included Freight. I drove to the Thurmont Jeep which is an hour and a half drive from me with full intentions on buying the Wrangler. Once I got there I had to wait for the salesman I had an appointment with, for some reason he left the lot. After spending an hour with him going over the vehicle and test driving it we sat down at his desk. That's when he informed me that Freight is not included in the sale price of the Wrangler. He also show me list of dealer ad on items like tinted windows which was odd because ethe Maroni stacker said it came with deep tinted glass from the factory along with dealer installed locking lug nuts for $250. Further more he told me I would not get the $2000 incentive for current Ford owner that is offer by Jeep because my current ford is too old. In his quote he added in $2000 trade allowance even though I told him multiple times I was not trading my current vehicle in. The salesman I delt with is Rene Roy. I never met the Sales manager but he did text me after I walked out. He also told me my current ford is to old for me to get the Incentive. I checked the terms of the incentive and there is nothing said about the age of the Ford just that it needs to be registered to me which it is.
So, say payments go up now as an unsecured personal loan, time goes by and you just so happen to pay the car off. There's still no title right? And you don't own the car either way? Wow I think I need a lawyer..

Please check with the IRS and find out how many 1099A forms they filed claiming that you abandoned your deposits. You need to cancel your power of attorney with your bank through IRS form 2848. Banks are transfer agents for you securities.

Did you file IRS documents for the identity theft and possibly the SEC. The economic damage is that the LEGAL NAME under the social security program operations manual defined is being used in commerce. You could have trademarked the legal the name given three notices to the company and see how they responded. Everything is commerce as soon as leave the privacy of your home. The settlement could have been much higher. Did the business file any ucc1 statements or submit any IRS documents on the legal name of your client. Did the business securitize any signed contracts for medical services similar to Maryland CRIS court registry investment system where the prosecutor submits at least three different GSA bonds in so called criminal cases.
What about money for finding somewhere new to live? No way in hell I'd still want to live anywhere that landlord or owner has!

Recover of deposits. What happens if the new rental is way above the cost of the current rental for the same type of unit? Same for the deposit? The managers, why did they evict without making sure that someone had been personally informed?
Those economic damages, and others, can get factored into the settlement. I find that many property managers, and more accurately, the management companies themselves, are not careful about handling their tenants, and simply don't care enough to double check on things, even on something as important as an eviction.
when they are not held accountable 99% of the time, they just write off that 1% of the time as the "Cost of Doing Business" and move on. There needs to be stiff enough penalties that this never happens

I know that in New York State that by law the landlord has to put your property in to storage for a year before they can dispose of it. But 99% of the landlords don't.
The laws differ from state to state and city to city. Some have laws that require the landlord to protect the property, others don't. What happens in the case of a home being cleaned out by the eviction contractors and you have firearms in the home ? Do the movers call the police to come take them away or do they take them back to their warehouse and wait for you to claim them ? They can't just put them on the street with your belongings.
That is a good question, I have not had a case about this but it will probably come up. I do know that sometimes items get stolen, and sometimes we are able to recover those items. If a firearm gets removed, the owner should call the police asap and report it.

The car dealer refuses to give me my plates off the car. The car was taken to the dealer for a repair. It was too expensive. I told them they could keep the car. They thought the finance company would pay for the repair, but they told them no. The car is no longer in my name but motor vehicle wants to fine me for it. The finance company and the dealer are trying to make me responsible to have it towed from the lot at my expense.

They misrepresented the idea that they "would take care of it" that they were making the last payment, I was wronged with the idea that they were "paying off" my car and their (Mercedes Benz dealer) we'll keep it. a week after I got a letter of Early Lease Termination, called them asking them what have they done!?, Called to Mercedes Bez yesterday telling me that I owe 5k for wear and tear, deferred payments, etcetc, I never agreed on this, I dot return leases I sell them. 1. I am from SD and drove to Orange County they misled me telling me that they can take my car, went up there with a false advertisement 299 (tgtbt) per month on an Audi Q4 told them I drove up specifically to take that National Promotion the discouraged my telling me that there were additional fees" and that I needed to give them ore than 7k for downpayment if I wanted the 299 obviously it is misleading if you do the numbers. Im in florida can you represent me. I bought a Toyota Tacoma from Weston, Toyota automation. After I purchased the vehicle, I got home after spending 7 hours there and realized they added an additional $2500 to the bill for miscellaneous. What is miscellaneous literally on the bill? It says 2504 miscellaneous items, the vehicle's price It was 40000 then they added a bunch of warranties, which some of them. I was able to get off immediately the following day. The miscellaneous fees they would not take off under any condition. They also would not take off 2 other warranties that were optional within 90 days a rim and tire package. And the security package that protection, they call it. That was another $1300 for that, or those 2 items for 1300 combined. The miscellaneous, what's 2500? So right there, we're at about $4000 I was lied to throughout the entire process of approaching this vehicle. They even put a sticker on the window. That said it was a 2025 model. I know I signed paper and formed, saying it's a 2024, but I was clearly misled until after I signed everything and realized d*** They put 2025 on the window sticker. But this is literally 2024, it had the Vin number everything, and it said year 2025.
...so if this amounts to an illegal practice, why are banks or lending institutions even allowed to have a buy rate and a participation rate? Aren't they also engaging in an illegal practice, especially if they're taking a portion of the difference as a kickback? Also, exactly where does that extra money "go" when the dealer quotes the higher rate? I can understand the kickback portion on the lender's side, since they're now getting x amount more from the customer in their monthly payments, but how does the dealership get their portion, since they've already quoted the customer on the price of the vehicle?

unfortunately, this was yet another scam dealerships were engaging in to get out from underneath the 30, 60 and 90 day fees on the banks rates given to the dealership. during the time when they had these cars sitting and had to mark them up so high to pay the fees. these stunts were being pulled to try and rip consumers off for their down payments.
I bought a car, was told I had to buy a list of things or the bank will not finance. was odd because the car only had 300 miles on it but was being sold as used. also found it odd they brought it out extremely dirty for first look and test drive. after I signed, they washed it and that's when I noticed the wheels were damaged. I was referred to the sales manager and he told me I signed so it mine now. turned his back and walked away. over time I began to notice ununiform gaps between the body panels and the wheel alignment always seems to be off. Carfax they showed me checked out no accidents, but I fear they somehow they avoided reporting the damage to this car.

theft under the guise of a business license. Criminals. they ask you to sign a pad, with contract many pages in computer. who knows what you are signing to begin with. I think asking for one or two pages to be printed, ie the page with all the costs listed and added before signing and take that home would be prudent.
Hello I recently purchased at vehicle in Ga. My temp tags expired a few days and the dealership still doesn't have the title in hand. The title was suppose to be sent to the DMV in TN. And the dealership emailed me an letter of extention stating that isn't my fault the car isn't.
