Octo expansion is definitely the best campaign

I really hope that they stretch it to the splat 10 year anniversary it feels weird to end it this year when they can end it closer to the end of the switch and on the 10th anniversary. but this is a pipe dream probably

I agree with your views on the egg count placements! I’m a long time casual freelancer and this most recent big run was the first time I’ve ever gotten anything above a bronze (I ended up with silver). I’m fairly certain that the majority of the player base is casual players, so I think more people need to realize that.

This video was just a quick one I wanted to make since like I said I just wanted to record something for big big run, I did not plan for this video to go in the direction that it did, this is just a very random video that ended up going up, and honestly don't expect this to do well at all which is honestly fine since this was quick and easy to make (and also different from what I've been mainly doing)

I swear if splatoon 4 follows the pattern "make a story mode, rush it again in the next game, introduce a new different story mode in the dlc, put it in the main story rushed in the next game. I will hate it. I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER ROUGELIKE IN SPLSTOON 4

I missed out on both drizzle seasons and what if someone got the game really late and couldn't get certain gear if they did a content extension I would want 3rd kits duh but also every catalog exclusive gear item u can't get in stores ex the toni kensa framless glasses

18:30 no Rando is possible with literally anything btw cuz it takes poison ink damage at its center on the bottom, you just ink the middle after enemy spawn and see.it lose health like crazy, it's straight up the easiest boss for this challenge lol

Drone killer wail is actually the best chip to get in these challenges early, cuz it makes EVERY. SINGLE. TURBINE. POSSIBLE It also makes the ball boss take considerably less time cuz it ignores armor Unfortunately the downside is it's almost useless for splat zones and fleeing foes but it's so much worth spending one chip to make so much possible for the downside of not helping much in some stages

Here's a challenge idea I tried myself on a recent run. Weapon specific chips only. Kinda similar to specific color chip runs, but for the weapons instead. Only your weapons main and secondary color chips, PLUS whatever color chips give your weapon a specific ability. Order Dualies with the extra dodge rolls chip, or dodge attack. Order Splatana with horizontal swipe speed. Charger, Splatling and Stringer with increased charge speed, charge hold, you get the idea. When it comes to the weapon specific chips, they only show up if you have an eligible weapon equipped so there's need to worry about selecting a wrong chip on that front. Just remember you're actually allowed to select them even if they're not one of your weapon's main or secondary chip types! I've only tried it with Dualies so far but I think it'd be fun with Brella or Splatling which have more weapon specific chips.

Rondo is possible with base bombs. Just… tedious. I think the bottom layer can take Poison Ink damage if worst comes to worst.

Good Job! I was getting sad for you when it got to the start of the ending sequence and I thought it was impossible. Also if you want a side order idea I guess you could try to beat the whole tower with the OctoShot and trying to get as few chips as possible and skipping as many floors as you can.

My main gripe with Side Order is that there isn't really any mandatory challenges. Yes Octo Shot is technically but it's nowhere near something like Inner Agent 3. Hackless should be rewarded in my opinion. I'm actually doing a Hackless Roller run, and if i beat it this attempt, I actually have beaten Side Order with every weapon hackless. I wish that were tracked tho, I've just been screenshotting the x3 mult for 0 hacks from Risky Rewards to prove I've done it, and would like both a way to prove other than that i did it, and also would prefer to actually gain something out of it. Ive already 100% Side Order

I just hope the next mainline game drops the Season format - it has ruined the free updates for me. Though it really feels like the devs are working on something else Animal Crossing or spin-off Splatoon related as their effort clearly haven’t been focused solely on Splat 3…

NGL imo Side order beat octo expansion by a landslide The gameplay from what it offered was enough to put it up there. Is all original and creative. Not only the enemy designs are different but how deep their mechanics are so good. My favourite is the spinny enemy that after you kill him you can send it back. Or the splashdown enemy that leaves a bouncer for you to get high up in the air. The guy with the bomb and you have to shoot to make him eat it, you can even shoot it while being send at you. The bosses are so good. They are NOT copied and pasted (looking at you octo expansion). Personally favourite the BALL. Even the objectives are creative. The tower that act like a sprinkler and creates a shock wave every checkpoint. This is what I call a fantastic dlc. Even is kinda repetitive I can still get over with the chips and weapons. Nintendo outdone themselves well done 👏

Honestly, I disliked Parallel Canon as a boss, I think I would've preferred it as a stage type instead.

It was so hyped up for so long, but it kinda underdelivered, especially compared to Octo Expansion, but I had fun with it. I personally think you could've played as a sanitized octoling at some point (either instead of 8 or as smtn to do post-game) to unlock the enemy octoling to play as, but that's just my opinion

Wish we could get the 2 stages from Splatoon 1, but it looks like we're only going to get 1 more stage and I bet it'll be a knew one🤔 I really hope they'll add more content even after next season. I'd probably even be okay with another paid DLC if that'd motivate Nintendo to continue updates for a bit longer😵‍💫

My opinion of side order Gameplay - 40% of my run is just loading screen and 60% is the actual gameplay and most of the levels are short as hell like 10-30 seconds long, but with the right pallets the level is around 3-10 seconds Story - the story isn't that much most take place in an elevator, story wise.. it's literally Callie's brainwash story mode, if callie was actually smart and didn't accidentally turn her walkie talkie upside down Music - 10 OUT 10 THAT'S IT A PERFECT 10

I think Side Order was a little tougher before all hacks were maxed out. Even using the Octo Shot with no hacks by Marina at all.

I only just realised I forgot to mention my favorite part, Asynchronous Rondo sing Ebb and Flow, what a wonderful creature
