I agree. My dock neighbor had the same boat, and he sold it for WAY less almost 3 years ago. Just be realistic, and realize that you don't make money on a boat. Ever

It does not have a water maker, but holds 300 gallons of water so you can take mini showers. No stabilizer or sea keeper as well.

Hi David, Sorry I am not very good a videoing still 😂 I have a new appreciation for others that do this. This is the only video i have of the boat. If I were to buy another jet boat would go with he 255 for sure. The 215 sounds like it would be big enough but it was not for 4 people in my opinion. I did have lots of great memories not he boat and never had an issue. I have still not gotten another boat. I did some traveling a little in my camper and just sold it. So I am looking for a new toy now.

It's still not known to the public and hopefully they don't follow my comments elsewhere, but we have decided upon the Scarab 255 ID. We live in South Florida so there are TONS of great spots for diving & snorkeling and adventuring right near us. We are hoping the 255 ID works out. Unfortunately it will take Scarab 6 months to build the boat! 6 months of counting each day.... Anyhow, it was nice meeting you. We subscribed and will keep track of your adventures! :)

I had no idea they were only for Yamaha. I would have taken then off. They were on the boat when I bought it. They Didn't make driving it very easy when underway.

I agree - after operating our 2019 Scarab 215 (th-cam.com/video/A_xKuAY-E1w/w-d-xo.html) for the past 2 seasons, I don't believe there is any need for the Thrust Vector system on the newer Scarabs. The engineering of the rear buckets does everything we need it too for neutral and reverse and then they pop-up out of way once moving forward. I know some have said that the older model Scarabs (maybe 2017 and prior) may benefit from Thrust Vector system - I believe it was because they did not have the Intelligent Neutral and Reverse (iNR). The only other benefit of the Thrust Vector is that it creates some stability (like a rudder) for the rear end since there are fins sticking down into the water (but then that also adds a little to your draft) which may be nice for towing wake boarders/skiers when they get outside of the wake and you feel the stern of the boat slide a little. If we owned a Yamaha, I would definitely check in to adding them but not for our Scarab.

If I did buy another one I would have gone with the 255 I think is what it is. The 215 was a little small for 4 adults in my opinion. But we are talk people.

wow that is crazy, I know with Covid thet Scarab could not get parts for awhile. but still not a good reason. sorry to hear that man.

That is an option for the 215 unfortunately this on did not have that.
