@MaxKuschmierz Totally! You can totally abuse this for a Max% and secret speedruns to get a great time. Unfortunately, however, using savegames from other playthroughs is against the rules, so you couldn't use this in a run to be submitted to speedrun.com

@Footi Weird issue, but you're absolutely correct here; although I did manage to get it to work just fine by rebooting the game and could play through normally without deleting my savegames. Trxye looked into why this happens and it's because the Senet variables don't get reset properly after being played, so when the Senet is replayed, it doesn't it behave as intended. He explained it far better than I did, but it's in the tomp4 chat of the Discord channel. xP

This isn't a trick I'd recommend doing unless you're doing an individual level speedrun as its very precise. To do this, when you jump into this wall you have to press Action as soon as you make contact and she'll pop up on the ledge. What I do in a longer speedrun is to take a sidestep from the farthest left while on the platform below the bridge and then jump into said left wall; this is far easier and will give you the same result.

The RNG for this pack was a total nightmare! It took me a long while to get out of that main area in tact haha. The enemy at 3:15 kept blocking the following lever, making it damn near impossible to push by in time. He takes about 35% of Lara's health a hit and has collision like Atlantis mummies. lol

@M4ke4l Thank you, it was a wild ride. I really tried to make the most of the QWOPable space. The level is just so well made I struggled to find many major skips. xP

Right? I can't believe that this is a thing. It also works on the original tr3 gold game as well.

Unfortunately this wouldn’t be possible on PS3; to do bug jumping you need a very high frame rate. The frame rate is capped at 30FPS and thus isn’t possible. It is very doable on PC with a PS3 controller however and the fastest player at big jumping, Taeruhs does so very effectively.

The original versions of Tomb Raider I and II have an item duplication glitch where you can use the same item multiple times. Here, I pick up the gold key and one silver key I 'duplicate' to use twice. Note that this only works if you don't have the Scion in your inventory. This is only possible if you pickup 255 Scions from the Tomb of Qualopec so the number reaches its maximum and the number overflows to 0 causing it to disappear. For this reason it's not viable in a full game run.

@@RiiFT Yes that's true i love the routing too but more glitchless. I did some Hidden Dagger IL's long time ago and after my final IL run you destroyed my time... i'll never forget that epic moment where i thought wtf is he doing 😅 Hidden Dagger was one of the best TRLEs according to the time.

@sascha-ni3sz I love The Hidden Dagger 🗡. It was as much fun to play casually as it was to route and speedrun. It's funny you say about your time getting undercut because about a week later, the very talented Makeal went and totally blitzed my work and cut off minutes. I'm not hard done by though as he did a fantastic job. I really enjoy it when people have a go at levels after seeing my runs. The competition brings innovation and we get some great speedruns just 'trying to be the best'. Man, I just love this community. My next TRLE is probably going to be The Folklorist' Diary; I've been working on it for some time now and almost have it all done but it's been a process for sure. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It's very humbling someone like yourself has even seen my runs as I've always been a fan of your channel and runs. Your glitchless progression is some of the cleanest and finest play I've seen as you beat WR after WR. I suppose when you can juggle as good as that you're used to having multiple projects in the air at once. :P

@@RiiFT many thanks for the kind words but the only thing compared to juggling is that i throw many runs away like the balls ;). People like you motivate me not to give up on things and to believe in myself. I'm currently not doing any runs because a loyal viewer simply lost interest from one day to the next without communicating with me why. That did something to me because he was always there and spurred me on. If I come back you are very welcome on TH-cam Live Stream. Since I have a new PC and no Cam or mic I would have to get the parts first but I don't know when. I wish you good luck until then and let's hope the remasters turn out well :)

@@sascha-ni3sz Awww, you're as humble as you are talented. I can totally understand that. I just love it when people appreciate what you've done, it's a great motivator and I totally get that you've lost the drive after they've gone. I've felt like that for a long while. I met lovely people which became great friends that have since disappeared. Some have even purged their social media accounts as well. I miss them terribly. I'd be delighted to join you in a livestream though whenever you're ready. People say to never meet your heroes but I disagree. Lots of times their awesome. :) I'm both excited and dreading the remasters. I have impossibly high expectations and worry that everyone will forget about classic tomp after its release. Not me though. :P

I personally like the no meds walkthrough by badassgamez. Although, it's a 'no med' run, it's got commentary, he kills all the enemies and collects all pickups. Hope this helps! :)

@@RiiFT It's funny that I had a problem with another plane in TR3 and again had to discover a glitch to get in=)) It was so stupid. The right way was just in front of me and I didn't see it. I discovered the right path years after. Nonetheless, I finished the game. Kinda proud of it. I was 10 or so...amazing game

​@@dmitriys31​Oh, I know, me too! I couldn't find the legit way onto the plane in TR3's Crash Site either. I ended up on top of the plane through an unscrupulous method and had to work my way backwards to understand the level. lol I blame the dimly lit level lighting on this one, it's hard to see; especially if you play on PSX. TR2 though, we have no excuse. Still, at least you finished it in the end. xP

@@RiiFT Another fun fact. You triggered my memories and I went through some gameplay of TR2 The Deck level, which I have never finished. And I discovered that the level is different! In my memories I had a lever under a ship (in the middle of the path to the cave behind the propeller) that made a propeller in a cave to magically disappear. Me, a little boy, thought that I'm not fast enough to make it to the cave in time because propeller was in its place always. There was nothing I could do. Today I discovered that there is a BETA version! But with a cube, blocking the path to the cave! Moving this cube triggers the propeller to disappear! It appears I played a pirated version. What a shame... Thank you! Because of you I've solved the two decades mistery! And now it's clear why I couldn't finish the Offshore Rig without the glitch with the window.....Damn, it was so obvious. My version didn't have any cut scenes, just prerendered) No path to the t-rex, crashed if I used flares in Venice level...Anyway now I have a licensed version of the game. May be I will finish it one day...or my son will do it for me)

Thanks Makki! This was a lot of fun to make. I'm so pissed about that last lever, I'm not that experienced on a PS2 controller and didn't want to get stuck in Caves so I went with this. lol (Redo potential but you know how that goes sometimes, kek) I've been on a 100% bender lately so I'll probably make another one soon. :P

The weapons I used in the Galleries are picked up from Rene's Pawnshop at 14:00.
