    Very helpful tips, thank you so much for sharing! My recent test result turned out my sugar is in the high normal range so your video is a great help (talk about the timing!) 😆 It’s good to know that I’m not alone in this journey. I’ve given up a lot of sweets already, but may need to work on the order (thanks for the info!) and timing of my meals. Apple has also become a staple in my diet too and it’s good at keeping me awake. Any suggestions on which calorie count app to use? By the way, is this video already shot using osmo pocket 3? Nice! Keep the videos coming! - from your INFJ follower 😁

    I can understand losing your passion. I've always done a lot of different things (learning languages, playing instruments, film school, dog training, sports, obscure hobbies... )The term, "it's a dying *insert obscure hobby here*..." and my brain takes that as I need to learn how to do it. I hit a point where I just burned out and stopped doing anything (writing, composing, filming and even socializing.) Only recently have i picked up doing something I truly enjoy, but had to make it fun, I find if I apply too much pressure on myself now that I just quit or get really depressed/obsessed. It took a lot of time spent in nature, and finding my roots to be at peace with doing nothing for a while. Wow, I promised myself I wasn't going to ramble again.... I have many more thoughts but will end it here. As always, thank you for sharing!

    I can really relate to losing passion. It’s tough when something that once fueled you doesn’t feel the same anymore... It’s like life makes sense in hindsight but moving forward without a clear map can be challenging. It’s normal for passions to change; that’s not a failure but growth. Take it one step at a time you don’t need all the answers right now. Keep going and trust that the path will reveal itself in time

    Thank you for sharing a lot about your life. I think I mentioned in one of the previous comments that your words are always very genuine, inspiring and comforting. My college education has never had anything to do with the roles I took on in all the companies I’ve been with, but along the way, I discovered that I love teaching other people. However, I’m currently on a new position where I don’t get to teach as often anymore, but whenever I have the chance, it always feels like coming home to my core purpose. I think we are meant to fulfill many different roles and learn as much as we go so let’s just enjoy the journey! We are where we need to be. Cheers! I’m an INFJ too! Looking forward to your next video. 🙂

    As an older sister I advise you not to focus too much on finding your passion. Or, at least, don't get discouraged about not finding it. Do whatever you do with passion and that itself is the key. We tend to obsess over finding meaning in our lives when in truth it's all about being present. Lamenting about the past, worrying about the future. Both are futile. Because, let's be honest, our passions, just like anything else in life, can change as time passes. Be kind and gentle with yourself and others. We often have grandiose visions of how our lives are supposed to be. Happiness is found in the little joys. ❤

    Sugar seems so innocuous, but it's very harmful to us all. We can't base our risk for having diabetes on our age or weight. Sugar is everywhere in our food. And, some are just genetically predisposed to getting it at some point in their lives. Proud of you for taking control, Mark! Because you're proactive I think you'll be just fine. 😉 Unlike my brother, I thank GOD I don't crave ice cream. I have my vices, but rarely drink soda (diet if I do) and have really cut down on other sugary treats.

    • @markpparkinseoul
      @markpparkinseoul 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! You’re absolutely right-sugar sneaks into so much of what we eat, and it’s not always easy to avoid. It sounds like you’re making great choices, and that’s something to be proud of! I think it’s all about balance, and being aware of what our bodies need!!!

  • @ldpuprazr
    @ldpuprazr 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Thank you for sharing! I don't drink. My vice/addiction is definitely soda, and I managed to recently transition locarb/lo sugar energy drinks. I mentioned on your previous vlog my goal is weight loss and to get my hypokalemia under control. Not doing take away, and controlling how things are cooked/what they are cooked in (h2o in place of oils a lot of the time) learning to enjoy the taste of unseasoned food is an experience as well! I am the main cook in our household, and cook for e different diets. (Vegetarian, pescetarian and meat eater sans pork.) I have a tendency to rely on take away food, and live in an area where there are no healthy options, so preparing 'fast' & 'healthy' food when I feel like cooking has become a personal goal. Wow, sorry for making this comment so long... Questions: can you do grilled chicken in place of fried? How many hours/times a day do you work out? How long of a walk do you take after eating ?

    • @markpparkinseoul
      @markpparkinseoul 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you so much for sharing your journey! It sounds like you’re making some amazing changes, and managing different diets for your household must be quite the challenge. And no need to apologize, I love hearing everyone’s stories :) answer your questions: 1. Yes, grilled chicken is definitely better than fried! 2. I try to work out for about 1.5 hours every day, mixing cardio and strength training. I take one rest day per week to let my body recover. 3. After eating, I make sure to walk for at least 15-30 minutes to help with digestion and stay active.

  • @sweetblueberrypeach

    Your determination is admirable! Just like you, I have modified my diet and lifestyle due to recent health issues. As a sweet tooth, I also had to give up chocolates, ice cream, sweet breads, dairy and a lot more, which is sad! But when I think about how it will do me good in the long run, I couldn’t compromise. It’s always better to prepare your own food, but it’s not easy especially if you’re invited by friends to eat out! 😅 So let’s hang in there and continue our journey towards better health! Aja! 화이팅! 💪🏻

    I lost my dog, my only real companion, on July 1st. She was a rescue from Korea and I had her for 8 years. Two months and I starting to accept she is gone. Maybe because I've been on a spiritual journey, but I didn't cry a whole lot. I miss her, but my outlook on death is that it isn't a finale. I've learned that it really is true that less is more. My spiritual journey has taught me that it's the discarding of beliefs and thoughts that frees me, not the acquiring of more. Not more stuff, not more friends/acquaintances, not more thoughts. So, I attempt to be present and not judge the past or future. I find that is when I'm most at peace.

When I was a child, i was always compared to him cuz he did everything perfectly. As you mentioned your beloving sister in this video, my older brother was also what you could call a “SUPERSTAR”. First video that popped out in my page. What a great video, this is so Cinema! Full of emotions and inexplanable feelings you can feel when someone close goes to a different country, all my family leave my country Argentina and moved to Europe...it's like I'm so happy for them but there's birthday, christmas, holidays and just random days that I didn't spend with them and we felt the void. Big luck from now on and keep making these type of videos Mark, is great!
