these hydraulic tensioners are stupid. weve been using spring rachet tensioners for over 100 years and they had to fuck it up.

Hello, please help me. I have an 04 r6. I commute to work on very windy and long bridge (san mateo california--longest bridge in california) Does this help with crosswind? I get tossed around everyday.

If I took my bike all apart like that and put it back together my bike would never run again. Nice job..

The valve spring pressure can be forcing the cam round hence the tensioner side is tight.

I am considering buying a r6 project for winter months. The owner says " it pops out of gear " ... I imagine it's bearings gone or gears broke. What was your parts cost on this bearing replacement ?

Super video. Hopefully, it will give some people the courage to take on jobs like this, that they were afraid to tackle. I like your flip-over engine stand. Great idea. It would have saved me a lot of trouble when I replaced a 2003 R6 gearbox, and it will be a big help with future projects.

I’m confused on how you set the tensioner with the pliers. Don’t you need to spin the crank to loosen the tensioners clamp so it springs out?

I installed and shows just first 4 gear. When ignition on show - - this lines not L
