very welcome :)
"These things are more interesting ". By saying "things" do you mean the book you were discussing or the things described in the book?
the contents and topics in the book - yes exactly :) or even the type of book
@@chrismusyt thank you 😊
How to use either and neither? I find it so confusing to use it in conversation 😂
this is a video idea I have already, so it'll get made eventually but just right now i will say that when you have these pairs where theyre the same word but one has an N on the front, that's the negative form. so: ever-never, either-neither. so in short, either is when you have two options and you are okay with both so you dont care which one is chosen and then neither is when you express you dislike both options :)
I like this guy 😫😍
@@jcscott4880 thanks a bunch, happy learning :)
If you really want to sound like a native speaker, you should have a speech disability. This works in many cases 😂
Thanks a lot

As a child I was writing something about the Prime Minister which I had always thought was one word and wrote "priminister" until my dad saw what I'd written and corrected me.

That’s actually incredibly helpful to do, definitaly agree on this one.
Yeah, wonderful! What's your favorite way to learn?
Professor, do you think American English overshadows British English? Do most of your students only want to learn American English? I find British English very cute, but unfortunately, I can't imitate a British accent, only American English variations. 😞
it really depends because all of my students are european, so they all learned british english in school, so naturally they have some habits that are hard to break like saying holiday instead of vacation. I feel like maybe more people I meet prefer american, but I can't put a real % to it
Short but the most useful video ❤

Learning from natives gives me more confidence, unless non-native teachers have 18-25 years of experience with the non-native language, and have achieved high scores on English tests, prestigious academic backgrounds, I can't trust just any non-native English speaker Teachers. ☺️
It's one of the reasons I don't opt to teach people (professionally) Czech, Italian, or Russian. Yes, I know them well and, sure, I could get someone started, but there are things I'm still unsure of, there are many things I'm not perfect with, and I really advocate for learning from a native. Non-natives may be more familiar with some rules and such which is a good bonus. Not all natives, of course, have a (deep) formal education in their native language, BUT I will choose someone who speaks the correct way even without knowing why than someone not native who knows rules, but not everyone is willing to accept the "it's just how it is" explanation like I am
@@chrismusyt There's a teacher who's very popular on the internet, but because she's a non-native speaker, she makes a lot of mistakes. I know that many native speakers make mistakes, but from what I've noticed, this teacher's mistakes go a little further than that (I won't mention her name out of ethics and respect). I don't want to sound rude about it, but it can cause certain insecurities.
Thanks for making this video. I remember requesting this in the comment section of the previous video.
I'm very happy to help out!
As a native speaker I dont even think about strong vs weak forms, but it's a very helpful reminder :)

Doesn’t matter where you are, a kitchen is the place where food is prepared, and cuisine is the type of food that is prepared (Greek, Thai, Italian, etc) :)

Such a good explanation. I actually didn't think about the use of "wanna", but now I know how to use it for sure. I guess I used it correctly, but without knowing the rule. Thaaaaank you so much
@@nadezhdapavlova9318 that's the great thing about languages, you can just kinda talk as others do and learn the rule naturally without ever thinking about it and I think that's the best 😁
Wanna can also contract "want" and "a", so it can be used before a noun
@@LordBumwaggle We soften the T to the point where it isn't really audible (you can't hear it) and naturally you then hear "wan a" so the sound is basically "wanna" BUT the written form "wanna" is strictly for "want to + verb" and we still always write "want a" separately. NOW, not all native speakers will do this and I think "wanna" as "want a" is growing in popularity, so one day I think it could become a more accepted spelling, but for the moment I reserve that it's wrong and is a confusion of the original "want to" "wanna". Also, since I grew up in the time when "wanna" was strictly "want to" I will always differentiate "wanna" and "want a" even if people start accepting "wanna" in both positions before a verb or a noun. Basically, someday they'll both be correct but I maintain that only one is for now. Hope this helps :)
God bless you!
happy to help any way I can :)
Thank you so much for your videos, teacher. It has helped me a lot. I'm looking forward to another video in advance, mainly the podcast with your friends. It's really fun to watch this kind of video.
