The basic reason is that most raids have a Protection Paladin as Maint Tank, which almost always has this skill talented, so it's better for a Holy Paladin to allocate your Talent Points somewhere else. Also Restoration Druids have the same +6% healing benefit which doesn't stack with the Paladin one, so in the end having either a Resto Druid or Prot Paladin in the raid brings you this healing increase automatically. But keep in mind, the talents I'm showing are considered as somewhat of a cookie cutter spec; you can of course adjust your Talents based on your exact raid composition.

Well firstly, if you get aggro as a Holy Paladin on BQL, you have bigger issues with your raid group that would probably not be solved by switching your own talents. It shouldn't be hard for Rogues and Hunters to properly use their spells, so you should never get aggro in a normal raid enviroment. Second though, if that should be the case, maybe just put RF on after the first Bite is recieved? The damage reduction of RF would still help throughout the fight afterwards... Also, if you use the macro for Divine Sacrifice, you should not recieve any damage, making more Armor be kind of reduntant. And for the Glyph, suit yourself - but then you would be playing with Glyph of Seal of Wisdom and Glyph of Seal of Light? I would strongly recommend still using Beacon since it's overall the better and more rounded choice for all raids.

Good catch :) As I was recording, I made that mistake when covering the Judgement ability which is why I tried to go into more detail and mention this fact at 51:15 - I agree though, when going over gear, I should've put the Stat on Melee!

I go over Addons at 1:10:31 but for your question - I use Healbot (although I'd suggest you use something like Vuhdo or Grid if new to healing)

Check the video at 55:44 again, Haste for Holy Paladins is explained there :) It's not way over cap, the soft cap for the Holy Paladin spec is at 1396, at which point one Holy Light cast is exactly 1 second during Bloodlust/Heroism. The 1 second is an important number because Global Cooldown cannot be lower than 1 second. Anything below 1396 Haste is ok. And it is a well reachable number. The 'unreachable' Haste is at the hard cap, which I strongly discourage to aim for. Also specifically mentioned, I encourage each Holy Paladin to find what Haste level works best for them, as it kind of depends on playstyle. The numbers shown in the video are just rough brackets mostly for orientation purposes.

In a normal situation pretty much yes.. there are some exceptions but generally I use Avenging Wrath or Divine Illumination with Divine Plea.

How about all three together? What about JOL, do you spam it on the boss?

@@ni2916 In certain situations yes, but in general it's best to use Divine Plea with only one of them. No, I don't spam JoL on the bosses and I also discourage this. You should upkeep your Judgements only once per minute ideally, to keep up the Haste buff, unless other Paladins cannot for some reason upkeep the debuff. But even then, only cast it about once every 20s before the debuff runs off, don't spam it off-cooldown

Well yes and no. I consider my Talent setup as a 'cookie-cutter' setup that is the most useful in the majority of situations. Most of the raids usually run at least one Protection Paladin which has the Improved Devotion Aura Talent, so us also using it is a waste of 3 points since the Auras don't stack. Alot of raids also often bring a Resto Druid, so overall it's quite a small chance to not get this improved healing effect in a raid. That's why in most cases it's better to put the points in Blessed Hands since in any situation at least improved Hand of Salv brings a nice benefit to the raid and also having to use Divine Protection with Hand of Sacrifice isn't that big of a deal anyway, especially if you focus on healing yourself for the duration, to not die. I do agree though, that if there is a raid without a Prot Pala or Resto Druid available, it's a good idea to get Improved Devotion Aura, but as I said, that's quite rare these days.

Hey, thanks :) In patch 3.3.5a I don't think Scarab Brooch is really good for Holy Paladins anymore, since it's like a chineese version of Val'anyr. While the on-use Shielding effect looks good on paper, you sacrifice a whole Trinket slot, when most other level 80 Trinkets are better, because they either give way more Intellect or SP or some other useful effect. If you compare Scarab Brooch with Val'anyr, the latter also gives pretty decent Stats (SP+Haste+Crit) along with the effect and procs almost every 30s, while that Trinket has a 3min cooldown. I remember back in 2017 when we were progressing Sindragosa, which has constant raid damage, I was playing around with this Brooch, but found out it was pretty bad. While we were around 6k-6.1k gs, the Brooch gave around 3% of all absorbs done, which is way less than around 15%-20% done with Val'anyr. That's why I wouldn't really recommend to use it.

Here's one for you. #showtooltip Holy Shock /cast divine favor /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][] Holy Shock /cast Gift of the Naaru Allows you to cast div favour into your holy shock. Honestly I never really use Divine Favour unless Im holy shocking on the move so to me it works well. Just start running and use the macro then follow up with FoL. Also can use Gift of hte Naaru if you are Drenai.

Well everyone having gear is quite important especially as a healer that wants to solo this.. but in the end Infests aren't actually the main problem, I suggest to always precast your heal just before LK casts Infest, so when the damage hits, you can already top some players off and it gets alot easier then. Try to get into the habit of pre-casting your heals when important damage is coming, it can elevate your healing game by alot!

Other than that, if having additional problems, you can always use raid cooldowns, try to get an order and rotate between then

Icecrown is the clown server, and Lordaeron is for real men!

Lordaeron never had any 30% ICC buff. The fights did get nerfed from their original values since the server launched tho, but it's still somewhat harder than on Icecrown realm.

@@TadejSmerke Lich king is exact same fight as Icecrown on 0%. So no, Lorda is not harder anymore, it was, and it was absurd before nerfs, I think like 2 times dps needed or more
