In China: You speak Language so hard In Russia: Language speaks you so hard
Woow bro i lernd russian i a year russian soo hard bu i got a b2 😅
Russian is a lot much easier than Chinese.
Anyone who has learned Spanish and taken C1 will know that this is BS. Please don't scam people and find a real job.
I don't believe you. AT. ALL.
Congrats on passing the DELE C1 in a year! As a DELE preparator teacher and examiner you mentioned several things that clearly helped you: the motivation by the pressure of your circumstances, the consistency and the confidence. When we are under pressure we can do wonders. Again, I am amazed and really admire your determination and talent. Probably teaching another language also helped you a bit too 😉
There are many factors that determine how hard or easy it will be for a person to learn a language. That being said, the Foreign Service Institute classifies Russian as a category IV language for English speakers. Languages in this group take on average 1100 classroom hours to learn. Mandarin is in category V, which is the hardest category and it takes an average of 2200 classroom hours to learn. So, according to them, Mandarin takes twice as long to learn because it's much harder. Great video though, very informative.
I can't make a timestamp for you guys because she never actually elaborates on what the method actually is. She does mention another stupid ass language learning app several times tho.
"Coger" also means to take in Colombia, it depends of the context

Three most important things: Motivation, Motivation and Motivation ❤ You had all three!!!

Russian in this case is more or less a proxy for all Slavic languages which are equally difficult for the native English speaker. I would also add that there is a some limited shared vocabulary with English, but I personally don't think this is a major factor in the difficulty. The grammar is the biggest thing here, barring the written forms of the languages. But, I have yet to try Chinese (I have studied Ukrainian).
Like that he is real. Not trying to be faks ot a genius bit took advantage of his oppurtunities.
06:11 "I always felt as if I were a dog." Good way of expressing the ability to understand language but not speak it.
You are so Gorgeous!!!
Russian is definitely harder than Mandarin. Why? because Russian has the most difficult grammar and Mandarin has the most easy grammar.
The Russian grammar is clearly difficult. Georgian grammar is even tougher than Russian grammar. But tones and characters in Chinese are difficult. I prefer tougher grammar compared with tones , from my side !
absolutely not
I don’t think throwing out information I want to remember is smart 😂 stupid brain.

What beautiful eyes!!

I agree everything said here in this video and I'm amazed. I'm 16 and right now I speak 7 languages. Tagalog (been taught since I was 6) English Kapampangan (both conversational and historical, my family's native language) Waraywaray Hiligaynon (My Birthplace language) Ilocano (My hometown language) Classical Tagalog (Learned it to understand the tagalog literatures.) I'm currently learning Bicol/Biksen Gubatnon Sorsoganon Cebuano Pangasinan 한국어 Español Chavacano Which makes 15 languages hehe. I started only at the age of 4 being taught by language english and tagalog. And we were surrounded by multilingual people but I seem to hate it at first that's why I don't absorb them. It happened To be my hobby when I started to conquer what I mostly hate; something I don't understand. That is learning other languages. I started researching. I tried to learned languages but I'm really frustrated that all those years I laughed at those languages which I learned later on. I started with my family's native language which is never passed unto me. Kapampangan. Casáquit mû rugú nun'é ca macatalastas quécang amánung sísuan. Balámu méto cang dáiu qñg quécang sarílin labuad! I loved the diversity. I stucked for kapampangan almost a year which makes them 3. Then soon I learned waraywaray last month, it looks the same to my hometown language ilocano even they are different languages, ilocano is from north. Waraywaray is from the southwest. Within just a month I got fluent and now I speak with the locals even though I haven't visited samar yet. Kon maaram ka ha usa ka yakan. Paghambugon mo! Along with that I learned hiligaynon which is very dear to me in my childhood but never got the chance to speak it. Now I've learn to speak it easily thanks to the help of waray waray language. Next I returned to Ilocano. The language of my hometown that I never learned but always get irritated for it's thick accent. Now I learned to love and embrace it thanks to waraywaray, it's unique feature and syntax and my native language kapampangan it's much easier to understand. Mabalinkayon nga agsao ti maysa a sao diay disso nu sadino adda dagiti katutubo. Kadagiti sao nga sinaok, ilocano met ti kasabalian diay amin. Kunaklano Kapampangan ken Waraywaray ti saoda. Kaykayatkon daytoy ngem iti sabsabali nga sarita. In the classical tagalog, it sounds a lot like visayan group of languages. Which is totally different to tagalog right now spoken in manila where english is mostly spoken. Especially dito sa places of manila, maraming nagsasabi na filipino kami. Filipino ang language namin! Isu nga dayta laeng ti saok kadakayo. Tani naluyagan niyo bala. Kay maaram ak man nga waray makatugbang haiyo nga yinaknan. Yniá pin paulagán yo réti ngamánu yung sísuan! Never stop learning even if it's your native language this is true. I agree with this. Dakal a salamat! Salamat hin duro! Salamat gid! Agyamanak unay! Balbaleg a salamat! Salamatunon na maray! Daghang salamat! Thank you! Every language is a unique identity and a concept of a culture. Never lose your ALÁYA
Hiiii you need a new friend
When I was learning Portuguese by myself, I realized that Peppa Pig had Brazillian dubbing (at least in my country) and my kids liked to watch it too, so it was like a family class.
A strong passion for languages was born in me but I'm not good at it, I don't know if my fatigue is connected to my being sensitive, introverted and blocked or not because I noticed that most people can study languages easily , I don't know if they were all born with the innate predisposition and I together with the minority are the only losers who don't have it and if you need to have a talent not to struggle with languages °°

For some time I was taking lessons, about 1 hr and 15 mins each. Despite the lessons were all in English (no Spanish was allowed) I did not feel immersed enough, as if my brain needed more time to enter in the mood. I took the hit and switched to intensive lessons, 3hrs each, daily. In only 6 months I was proficient and my American coworkers noticed it praised me for the effort.
