Nice video, but in reality i think her voice would have been a little to thin in certain vocal ranges to ever work with nightwish in the long run. Love her performance with amaranthe and when she works(ed) with other bands. Floor Jansen however fits like a glove. So all things considered things worked out quite nicely. The only thing i would wish for is a better quality "denver debacle" video. The entire show was a blast but the quality you can find online is just atrocious.

Tarja Turunen is the Queen Mother. Anette Olzon is the Rebel Princess. Elize Ryd is the Illegitimate Child. Floor Jansen is the Queen. They all played a part in Tuomas Holopainen's "Nightwish"! 🤘🏻

I honestly think this girl should embrace her poppy chest voice and outdo Anette ... She's not fit for Tarja songs any more than Anette is because she has too thin of an upper register, although she's still more of a soprano than Anette altho they're really both Mezzos in all honesty. She scoops into a lot of notes which is extremely uncharacteristic of Tarja who tends to attack notes either sharper than or on pitch, this vocalist tends to scoop up into them from flat to in tune - very jazzy and poppy. Nightwish were already dismayed by being compared to acts like Evanescence. Imagine if they had hired this (good and talented) vocalist instead, how those comparisons would have had even more weight to them? Nemo really does sounds like an Evanescence song without Tarja

Better than Annette, but not Floor. Had Tuomas chosen her over Annette all those years ago, who knows if there would have ever been Floor with Nightwish or Elize with Amaranthe. Things have a way of working out.

She would certainly be a great choice, if not the best.

Elize is great, and really beautiful, but nobody beats Floor. Elize is perfect for Amaranthe, because she has this pop technique. Floor is a true metal godess.

I do really love listening to amaranthe but in this 1:45 she didn't meet the required level, she has a really pretty good voice but she might be worse than Anette if she become the nightwish front woman. annette has a really high pitched voice but she's not a belter as floor is. all I want to say is that all singers has a good singing style but nightwish requires very heavy and high level of metal singers and that's floor. even in the philippines where there are so many belting singers doesn't have a performance that is better that floor jansen.

LOVE Elizes voice on Nemo! I know why she ticked off comments on her audio upload,some people are just too darn negative and dramatic on YT,spreading hate and nonsence. Elize over Anette any day of the week though. A petite woman,with a beautiful cute voice,but man oh man can she push that voice to be heard. That shows me dedication,passion and hard work laying behind it. Unlike artists like Britney Spears who allways was more concerned of selling herself as a sexualized object with playback live. If she just sang with the voice she had..... There is a long way up to Floor,even with Tarjas strong dramatic operatic sounds. But its just silly to compare anyway. But technically? A much stronger voice live then Anette has,just a shame that they found her abit too young when she auditioned. But knowing the outcome now,Floor in Nightwish and Elize in Amaranthe....it was for the better. Get to admire theyr performances at the same time,in 2 great bands!

That over 1.4 THOUSAND people disliked this video just goes to show why we can't have nice things. This is one of my favourite songs by Nightwish, no matter who sings it, and Elise just nails it here.
