My understanding of " GOD" is that of a "TITLE" the absolute highest that can ever be achieved. That's his name and his position. No one can ever ascend to it. JESUS will always be the son of "GOD". JESUS said "only the Father knows" "You come to GOD through me" "Ask the father in my name" and many other verses. If JESUS is GOD there is no need to go any further.

@@bruceread4507 You are right in saying that the word God is a title and not a proper name. Son of God is also a title and it applies to Jesus becoming a man an coming into this world without being fathered by a human being. The nature of Jesus however, is divine and this is what the entire gospel of John is trying to say from beginning to end. As a man he was the image of the invisible God and those who came to God had to come to him, the manifestation of God. Read the first chapter of John and keep it in context. If it is your wish, I propose that we may enter into a specific exchange on this topic on a different platform and see together what the Bible has to say. Would you be interested in this? Blessings
