@@scizophrenic2602 yeah more or less. I can definitely tell the difference between with formula 4’s and other wheels. These snot wheels feel like most wheels in the price point. I got the 99a version, which they are still able to slide, but grip when you need them to. As advertised the 99a's are able to handle rougher ground compared to the STF formula due to the fact that they are softer than the STF's. They do come in a 97a version and currently only have three out of their 6 shapes in the x formula lineup, but I heard they are planning on adding more in the future. when it comes to price, at least here in the U.S, the price is relatively the same, however bones are a few bucks cheaper

Either Spitfires are too expensive or the mark up is too much. Certainly something is whack right now. It’s almost like it’s a luxury good right now. The Bones X-Formula wheels are a slightly cheaper alternative and from my experience riding the X97s are very good wheels.

@@averageskater900 yeah why not try and find something else that rides good? I did get the Spitfire 93s but for 55 pounds over here in Sweden. But it’s like you say the price generally is all the way up to 75 pounds and that’s just cray cray. In my experience the 93A Dragons were comfy as hell but a little too grippy and bouncy. The X97s are very nice but the Spitfire 93s are just a perfect all round wheel to me. Especially after the first few sessions where you’ve gotten them broken in. They are very comfy but still feel like a harder wheel and slide well enough. The X97s are just a tad too hard for my ole time feet though they are definitely not anywhere near as hard as say a 99A Spitfire.

I just looked up how much 60 pounds is in US dollars (I'm from the USA) and wow... I would not buy Spitfires for that price either. Actually, I don't think any wheels are worth that much. I'm glad Snot Wheels are priced affordably where you're at. They're about $30 (23 pounds) where I live. Of course they have to import them into your country, so the price difference makes sense.

Perforated grip tape may have been invented for a reason as you say, but I hate it. I live in an area that has the most humid summers and relatively cold winters, and any perforated grip starts to peel off after a week or two. Perforations in griptape cause the glue to dry out faster in the griptape, which in theory, causes the griptape to start to peel easier and doesn't stick as well, at least where I live. It's straight black Jessup for me all the way, it's grippy enough that my flip tricks work the way they are supposed to and more importantly, it sticks onto my deck for the whole 3-5 weeks a deck usually last me untill it snaps or it gets enough razor tail to affect my skating. I don't get air bubbles either, that may just be because I've been gripping boards for 16+ years but I don't know. My point is there is a downside to perforations and I'm glad some grip companies don't use them. Otherwise I enjoyed the video :)

I’ve been really happy with these wheels for transition. The shape locks in. The duro will slide but not slide way out. These wheels have thrown me off of nose slides, as they dig into the side wall. It just depends on what style of tricks and riding your doing and on what sort of ground. I ride a cruiser with massive wheels around the neighborhood and park setups for real skating. If a kid can only buy one set of wheels for transportation and park, these aren’t a bad choice..
