After I post 150lbs, I volunteered at a local gym for like 6 months just to see how all of it worked in practice. I was hooked.

Far too many gyms - mostly smaller ones? - allow for their trainers to let their certs expire. That’s crazy. We always need to continue to learn.

The hack squat machine at my gym has 3 20kg plates on each side EVERY morning. I still use it without weight added. I removed them all twice but now I just do squats because it’s not worth it

Yup, if you want to be a lazy ass then don't come to the gym. I cannot stand lazy people. Not putting weights back, not wiping your nasty sweat off the equipment, or the idiots who try to use 5 pieces of equipment at the same time.

This is absolutely hard cap. Gaining muscle does not take the micromanagement of calories, fats, carbs, ect the way losing weight does. Don't get me wrong it's not necessarily easy but it's not NEARLY as hard as these guys are putting it as. Bulking is seen more enjoyable then cutting and why? It's cause you have more energy and strength. I honestly don't see this man's logic. I can personally gain muscle 10 times easier then cut. Now if this guy is talking about more bodybuilding and not power lifting then I somewhat see what he means but my point still stands. Losing 30 lbs in fat is harder then gaining 30 lbs in good lean muscle.

Everyone's experience can vary based on their goals, body type, and approach to nutrition and training. It's great that you've found gaining muscle to be easier for you personally. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

@@WeAreTheMovementHubPodcast my apologies if I came off as harsh or rude that was not my intention and I'm sorry if it came off that way. I just think that bulking is way easier then cutting however I can somewhat see where you're coming from. I just personally feel that the micromanagement of calories, proteins, and carbs for a bulk is easier then a actual diet. I'm sorry for being ahead of myself.
