I dare not listen to any of these while or just after eating. Otherwise, they give me the…………..the trots.
Liszt is a monster!
These are so good! 😊
Liszt could really just make a badass melody if he wanted to.
isnt it already?
i mean, i guess he has, listen to his ‘Benediction de dieu dans la solitude’
How could do that, with word "Liszt"
@@maksymnevdakha Huh
The pianist struggled with number 1. See fortissimo in these unidirectional parallel jumps of both hands he went for in the safest possible manner. I highly doubt that the intended effect on the audience was that of the performed piece in this recording; notwithstanding, my thanks go to him for showing us the brilliancy and virtuosic panache the early Liszt could rally to accomplish soaring bravura. All the other renditions of Galops except the one by Cziffra (surprise, anyone?) were a joke.
Wow Clidat is incredible
Good music
These Galops sound like the start of ragtime especially the russian one and the 3rd one but maybe its just me
The grand galop sounds like from Cziffra
That's because it is his playing
Choice on second clip, Finale of sonata 2, was terrible. Too much pedal just killed the piece. So mediocre performing. Thats why I dont like much Argerich on Chopin.
I absolutely love all these gallops, especially the A minor and Russian gallop.
Poor performance selection of the pure masterpieces. There are several wrong notes that frowns at every important moment in No.1, and what the hell happened at 16:33 and 17:56 ??
Shit happens in live performance
Honestly, these 5 galops are so under rated!!!
not only the composer, but the performer too... eh... and even the listener must be a little nice & pretty weird...
Liszt the God did write plenty of BS as well…
Not sure how this is BS to you. Each one still manages to have a catchy melody
galop galop
The first galop in A is one of my all-time favorite Liszt pieces. its a shame there's only like 3 recordings of it.
bella música mágica
I prefer Galop Marquis. These make me dizzy and make my stomach hurt. I had to pull myself to listen to the 1st Galop. It just sounds like noise. Liszt wrote better pieces than this. I understand that these were show pieces but man. I only can take so much at once.
The ossia cadenza 🤮
Living in the 19th century might have been worth it, if before you died of syphilis or got mulched by grapeshot you got to hear Maestro Liszt blow the doors off with one of these encores.
Even though it doesn’t sound like that but the first one scales a lot higher in terms of difficulty than the chromatique
The two complete masterpieces.
It never gets old. They are absolutely wonderful and I love them.
yeah indeed
Repent and trust in Jesus. We all deserve Hell for our sins, such as lying lusting coveting and more. We can't save ourselves, but Jesus can save us. He died on the cross to save us for our sins and rose from the grave defeating death and Hell. You must put your faith in him only. He is the only way to Heaven. Repent and trust in Jesus. Romans 6:23 John 3:16❤😊❤
i think Gyorgy Cziffra must have the world record for speed on the 2nd gallop
06:27 08:40 10:10 18:16
Szaleństwo muzyczne,piękne😉😃👍
If you really wanted to present the Liszt “Complete “ Ballades, why didn’t you choice a complete recording of the second Ballade, for example Arrau,Bolet,Andsnes ,Cziffra etc.
S. 220 directly cites material from the end of his waltz S. 214/1.
Not exactly, Galop de Bal cannot be cited from S.214/1 cause that set was written and published ~1852 and Galop de Bal was published in 1840. However, an earlier version of S.214/1 (S.209) was published in 1835 and it has that same thing at the end, so Galop de Bal is based off of that.
Repent and trust in Jesus. We deserve Hell for our sin. Lying, lusting, etc, but God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross and ride from the grave to free us from sin. If you repent and trust in him youll be saved. Romans 3:23 John 3:16❤😊❤😊
Repent and trust in Jesus. we deserve Hell for our sins. For example lying, lusing, saying God's name as a cuss word and stealing our just some examples of sin which we can all admit to doing at least one of those. For our sin we deserve death and Hell, but there is a way out. Repent anf trust in Jesus and you will be saved. Repentence is turning from sin. So repent and trust in Jesus. He will save you from Hell, and instead give you eternal life in Heaven. John 3:16 Romans 3:23❤😊❤😊😊❤
????
Rach 1 is valintina lisitsza and Rach 3 is khatia buniatishivili for sure
16:35 why did Friere not play that part? Both performances are great nevertheless!
Exelente ❤️🇮🇷 Galops Ana María.
Concervatorio Cedmex 🇮🇷🎹✅❤
The A naturals at 1:28 are so indescribably perfect. I've been listening to the first three bars of the Allegro moderato for 15 minutes and I can't stop.
The scale in the left hand at 1:34 is similarly entrapping 😍
Currently learning the S218. So far lots of octaves and trills.
how is it going?
I hate the part in the last one where the left hand leaps and hits the grace note its soannoying😠😠
Well if you ever do learn the piece, you can always just use the ossia.
@@thenotsookayguy I Will 😊 I will learn everything
No. 3 Is so funny I might learn it some day just to have
i would love to see a video of someone playing the first one at tempo it would be helarious
Ah, the five liszt galops, played with great clarity and excellence. Thank you for sharing these!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The second Ballade is tremendously clever structurally. My guess is that Liszt started with the final theme and then worked his way towards it via distorted versions, making the final consummatory statements of the theme so powerful. The piece has many elements common to other great Liszt works; parts are like the Legends, parts are like the Transcendental Etudes, and parts are like Harmonies Religieuse et Poetique, particularly the last, with its ‘luminous’ elements.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH it's always amazing to find youtube channels like yours, thank you for share this video
Happy 150th birthday Sergei!
Soirées italiennes not "soirés". Soirées is a feminine noun so two "e"
That's exactly what i wrote, but you're right about "grand" galop. Thank You
@@eira6924 Sorry my bad. But it's "italiennes" not "italienes". Whatever. Thanks for sharing.
Grand galop chromatique not "grande". Galop is a masculine noun.
I don't think you're right-

I'm so tired of the ossia cadenza. It gives a trashy veneer to a piece which has some good moments overall. I especially like the lyricism of the first movement
