this book is so damn good! Tyler is such a great human also, it is really awesome when you can be a fan of someone who is a great person. and i agree 100%, his books are very heavy!

I was on time to buy this book before it got sold out, but they don't ship to my country unfortunately. A little disappointing as most book dealers from the US do when asked. However, they did redirected me to a UK website but they didn't have the book on the UK website (they do have the limited edition of Heavy Ocean by Thunderstom books though). I think that the most disappointing is the glued biding with this edition though - the rest of the book looks nice (illustrations and end papers especially) but the fact that they use glued binding at this price point is really disappointing in my opinion. It reminds me of the Limited Edition of Pines from Borderlands Press but at least it costs half the price compared to the Thunderstom limited...

Yes, reading Tyler is an awesome event where you truly experience a wild ride. That's why I will always push for Jones. Tim, it appears you're slowly discovering the magic of his books. I really want to read my ARC that I paid to collect, but I'm waiting until I read the final version! The Dark Side of the Room and Almost Ruth are very heavy, too.

Thunderstorm need to start using Smyth Sewn bindings, books that cost $100 plus and glued bindings fall apart sooner than later. What does everyone think?

I had a very similar reading experience with this book - the last half of the book fell flat for me. A shame after such an awesome setup and premise…but I do still love the book, perhaps more for what it could be than what it is - but I love it nonetheless.

I just received mine today. I have three copies now, lol. The author and I traded books, so he has mine, but I'm not sure he has read them yet. So I have a hard cover signed by him, and I have a reader copy, and now this beautiful numbered. Love it.

No one here would say stupid because we all understand the problems we collectors face. If I remember correctly, this one sold out super fast.

This book almost made it to my favorite stories of all time, but towards the end characters started getting too lucky for my taste. It’s not in my top 5, but I would still include the book in a top 15 list.

Totally relate to family not understanding my book purchases haha. My fiancé doesn’t mind as long as I keep her happy with a fancy night out every now and then 😂
