Beanstalk Builds
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 2 เม.ย. 2021
We're not only building projects, we're building confidence.
Since I was a small sprout, I've always had a passion for teaching, building, and working with my hands. My aim is to help people experience the joy and satisfaction of being a craftsman even if you're not good at it...yet! My goal is to create content to show that all you need is a blade, a piece of wood, a little patience, and like a beanstalk, your skills, tools, and workshop will grow.
Together, we can build something we are proud of!

I Built These Nautical Sculptures in a Weekend.... Did Anyone Buy Them? Beginner Woodworking Project
Do beginners REALLY stand a chance of making money with woodworking?
That's what some woodworkers claim, especially with projects like nautical sculptures and beach themed decor. In this episode of our series testing woodworking projects for profit, we put that claim to the TEST!
I'm building some EASY nautical sculptures (perfect for beginners) and documenting the entire process - from choosing the wood to the finishing touches.
But will they SELL? After a week of listing them online, I'll reveal the results and show you exactly how much profit (or loss!) I made.
This video is perfect for beginner woodworkers who are curious about making money with their hobby (make money woodworking, woodworking business). I'll share all the steps involved, along with some tips and tricks to help you get started.
Plus, you'll get to see if these nautical sculptures are truly a "next big seller" or just nautical nonsense!
Let me know in the comments below if you've ever tried selling your woodworking projects, and what your experience was like! Don't forget to subscribe for more project tests and woodworking content!

I love your videos please make more :D but my question on this one is how sturdy is it given no screws were involved?
Great work!!
Even with 1 part shouldn't you grind or sand the concrete first?
Is there other colors than gray?
What platform did you sell on
That's funny, I thought I was the only one without a table. Rig one every time and sometimes it works sometimes not so much. 🤪
Thank you for the Info
I realize this is an older video. However, I personally don't think that Ryobi was designed to do an entire yard, but like you stated, used around the shrubbery and tight places to rid the leav s in those places. And that is what I would use it for. The acer plus yard I have I use a mulching blade equipment zero turn mower and mulch up the leaves in the large portions of the yard. Works for me... However, thanks for your video...
I binged watched almost all of your videos. Good tips on here man! Impressive how you got 5.75 subscribers in only 13 videos. Did you know you can review your own tools at home and get paid as a affiliate? Have u ever thought of doing this? As I don't see any affiliate link for this tool. You have one link , but I don't think it is a affiliate link. Maybe something to consider.
You could also char them and make them darker looking that way
Thank you for your honest review. I think I'll stay with the old school lawnmower routine.
how about angles
Just found your channel, love the content. I used to make and sell these on Etsy about 14 years ago and was doing really well with them. I am about to make use of all my power tools again.
What you say true . Try a rake , I have Hart same story. Thanks for your view,
So a miter saw is a must as far as this or a table saw? I’m going out and buying a saw tomorrow and some other things (I’m thinking a planer) to get into woodworking. I’d like to do something like this to start making money with minimal tools before making some bigger purchases.
Wow you gave me some ideas. I used to sell paintings on Etsy and small size ones that were easy to ship and some of them had magnets on them so you could put them on your fridge. Then a world changing event happened in 2020 and I shut it down. Now I'm thinking about starting it back up......
Do you put them in a box? How thick are they?
Very helpful video, thank you.
dipping them in a small "tank" will speed things up a lot.
I was almost going to get one. Thanks for the video I’ll pass on this one.
They look to thin to me…
Simple, effective and the product is useful too 👏
There is no such thing as one part epoxy. It's called paint.
Not looking good for RYOBI.
I love how you did the absolute most with what you had, and it worked! Great video!
I'd use raffea for tying. During hoildays, use colored raffea. Also, advertise them as reclaimed wood. People love the idea of killing less trees!! Thanks~
Great job. Thank you.
its a back killer
😅Toro
I have both the forstner and the spade bits and wondered why I'd ever use my spade bits. Now I know. Spade bits are down and dirty and fast and the forsener bits are clean and precise. My work I do is what I'd call clean and precise. So that's why I love my forstner bits. I did a search and found your article. I'm now a subscriber and will watch every one of yours. I'm not a great woodworker, but I am one that wants to learn a little bit more each day. So thank you.
How do you sell them locally. What website do you use?
Better to use lawnmower to pick up those leaves
Anything is better than raking. I hate raking leaves almost as much as I hate shoveling snow.... and I friggin HATE shoveling snow.
I do them with dry logs, about 4" around, leave the bark ON. Maple and birch are good, after you cut them to the half inch thickness, sand the top and bottom, apply a sealer. I then put round disks of thin cork on the bottom. They sell great.
do you bake them in the oven after you cut them to make sure they're dry enough? I'd be worried they would be dry enough to not cause issues with the poly over time.
What platform do you use to sell locally?
Great video! Love this concept!!!
It works but it's an awkward design, it gets heavy
Thanks this was informative. I was thinking about purchasing it.👍🏾
I did the same with my basement 😂
I use the plastic top caps, off spray cans. They work great. Maybe make rack to hold them, which will add to your profits
Another way wet grind
Great review. I’m a beginner and the more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know. Thanks for the informative video
Well done!!
Loved the video, I'm just a beginner so good to learn. Pleasant to watch.
Why is mine a new Ryobi 40V trimmer not as nice as this one? Don't have a safety mechanism like that and don't have the arrow on it where the handle goes.
I recommend the Echo es-250. It's gas powered but much better. I love Ryobi and have a lot of their stuff, but for a blower/vacuum/mulcher, I recommend the gas powered Echo.
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!
