I have a corded leaf vacuum. I looked at this one just today and after this review, I’ll just stay with that one. I don’t see a reason to switch. The one I have works better. For all you reading this, it is a Worx.

I straight up hate Ryobi, their batteries are a POS with a stupid saftey mech that makes them useless if you do not properly charge/discharge them each time. Fuck Ryobi, they need to make a replacement corded battery for all the garbage products iv got of theirs that are not useless without spending another $100-200 on a battery.

Got one. Had it for 3 years also have the tri blade attachment for heavier grasses, weeds and it will cut down small trees 1 - 2 " diameter. Looking into other attachments. Only issue I have is the weight of the unit with the battery. Not as young as I used to be and after 30 minutes or so of using it I have to take a break. I would suggest a battery pack for the battery like the leaf blower backpacks with just a cord to connect it to the unit. I am trying out a wheel attachment on the weed eater to see if that helps also. The unit works very well and you are right about restringing. Easiest I have ever done.

A tip for others who might be trying to sell these or other low-cost easy build wood projects.... offer to donate a dollar or two from each sale to your local animal shelter or better, dog rescue (I run a dog rescue so I'm biased lol). Rescues are always in need of financial help, and people like to help support rescues especially if they're getting something out of it. Just a thought...

Great video! Just a quick tip on cutting the legs, make your first cut at the angle you want and then just slide the board along the fence to make your next cut without changing the miter angle. You will save 8 cuts and a lot of time.

You should definitely have brought up about how much material was removed and how big the piece that you started from with was so someone else could theoretically do the math and figure out amount with a full 4 x 4 of either 8 ft or 10 ft Also I would say sell them for 10 to 15 USD and then multiply it by that Because with an 8-ft board at a quarter inch per coaster and if I take out about 7 in Max thanks to the removed material because I know some miter saw blades are anywhere from a 16th to 1/8 inch thick that's 22.25 units of four coasters a piece selling them for 15 a set that is 335 USD and with 20 that's $445 So at a $10 towards $30 4x4 board that is still anywhere from a 300 to 400 profit not including potential shipping cost and with four of the 8 ft boards you're still making 1200 minimum before shipping costs are included and in some states that's a whole month's worth of rent in like 3 days worth of work maximum spending a few hours at a time knocking a crap ton of them out and if I take a few extra days with a wood burning tool and a metal stencil to make sure the design is always the same and maybe hit them with some stain I can easily sell them for 25 min for a set of four that is roughly $2,200 a little over with the 8 ft at a quarter inch again this is before shipping costs and if I filled the carved out area with colored epoxy resin I can even sell them for 30 bucks and with the same 8 ft and quarter inch thick that gives me just under $2,700 and I can go to the lobby of the hobby or Menards to pick up pouring resin for anywhere from 20 to 35 USD and pick up some ink or powder to change the color of the epoxy for anywhere from 5 to 10 bucks yes I have about a $60-80 investment but 2,700 roughly makes it well worth it and handmade with a cool design not even including if it has a stain in it And that 2,700 is a whole month's rent in most States for a single board of 8 ft long with quarter inch thick coasters and then I can use a hundred USD out of that gain dropping me just about 2500 something and I can purchase a few more boards and more of the stain and resin so I will have roughly five grand off of two boards and then I purchase four or more boards with the minimum four that's about 10 grand and that's about a week and a halfs worth of work and then I got to take taxes out but honestly that is still well worth it

Coasters make great gifts, but as far as selling them, there's no telling if it will work or not. Plain coasters like the ones you made don't seem to sell at all in my area. People want either something laser cut or wood burned into. So it honestly depends on where you are. Unfortunately, coasters like cutting boards/charcuterie or cheese boards is a saturated market in many areas/ You have really research your selling cost for where you are. I've seen 6 packs of coasters going from $15 to $35 a set depending on what is on the coasters & if there's a holder for them.
