I've had my backpack blower for a year now. It's just starting it's second season and so far it's performance is excellent. So glad I don't have to worry about mixing gas and oil (it's main selling point)!!!!

This helps... but the commercial models NEED suitcase batteries, so we can switch them out every couple acres, like the residential models. Lighter equipment, is more efficient equipment. I don't understand the commercial segment's obsession with dedicated/fixed battery packs. Only municipal mowers need "all day power". Contractors can afford the 2 minute downtime of a battery swap. Also, if they want to keep fixed big packs, they need to be readily serviceable... a couple locking pins and a transmission jack should be all that's required to remove/switch/service a large pack. They could even offer a "swap dock" for your trailer, with a winch and slot for an additional battery/charger.

Another awesome podcast! Sadly for me, I haven’t had any burnout for the past 2 summers due to extended dry spells. Some yards I skipped week after week for nearly a month. So looking forward to fall cleanups to carry us to the end of December. Been to the Expo three times and hopefully we can go again this year.

I have a greenworks self propelled mower and it isn't as good as the Ryobi self propelled mower I had when I bought the greenworks mower. I'll definitely go back to Ryobi products, not greenworks.

Yeah, I've had trimmer debris hit me in the shin, in the eyes, in the face, in the teeth, in the forehead, in the jewels, go under my glasses; mower ricocheting things off of trees and hitting me; yellowjackets going crazy and stinging me in the face .....🙄 It's a dangerous job we do. Don't let anybody tell you we have it "easy"... Not to mention, overheating, dehydration, poison ivy, ticks, tripping over stuff while operating equipment, etc 😅
