I was there for the beginning- had a few Spider-Man classics and got the series 1 hulk with articulated hands for my birthday along with the SMC rhino. I had no clue just how good I had it going through wave after wave with my pops - buying and reselling figures online growing up - but had a substantial collection of my own. I fell out of love with them as hasbro took over and left it by the wayside. Only in the past few years after I’ve sold off most of my original Toybiz stuff have I had the itch to purchase a few choice pieces of hasbro mainly inspired by the Toybiz days as a final fairwell to those immaculate sculpts. Hot take - I’d take the display stand and comic over BAF pieces any day of the week.

Normally I'm not a big Elseworlds fan, but man, that story kicked @ss!!! Hope there's assault - not just the Allwinter spinoff but a true sequel with a Joker surrogate and Waller returning.

Honestly, I think that DC Multiverse gives you a lot more figure for your money. They are getting overpriced too, but Marvel Legends remain smaller, have no accessories or weapons most of the time.. Also, Hasbro tend to release LOTS of peg warmers if you ask me. For one Marvel Legends I want to buy, there are 12 I don't even contemplate buying (even if they were way cheaper..).

in 2020 multiverse was better, 4 years later, hasbro has been pushing for better quality, sculpts and more accesories, they still release stinkers every now and then, but they also release brand new sculpts frequently. Multiverse to me feels like they peaked two years ago and haven't done much in terms of innovation, they keep releasing uninteresting characters while missing essential ones and then they release bizarre repaints of those same uninteresting characters. Also something that legends have that multiverse lacks is playability, posing a legends is satisfying, they feel durable and the reusability of molds, means that collectors are familiar with the parts so kitbashing, swapping is a thing and the figures can take the abuse. Multiverse feel more like posable statues, they don't feel as durable, like they feel sturdy and all, but after a few poses, joints start becoming loose, parts squeak, so it's not a satisfying experience and customization is not as accessible.

Love or hate Mattel but the dc classics line was better than Mattel dc multiverse and mascarpone dc multiverse. That line can compare to marvel legends

Stopped collecting Multiverse after they announced Santa Batman. The creative well's probably pretty dry by now. I hate so much about Legends, but damn if thier horrifically expensive plastic doesn't feel premium. Felt like a 10-year old again opening Spidey and seeing that quality build.

Only area DC wins is price

The way i see is that when legends goes hard on a figure it comes out pretty nice. But when mcfarlane goes hard on a figure that figures HITS. He makes amazing sculpted figures. Tho i do gotta say a lot of the others can be really ugly and wonky looking

I think Marvel Legends is the better toy line for fans of the comics. They throw out some real deep cuts, so if you're a fan of one character in one specific costume, there's a chance you're going to get a figure. I have 3 different Emma Frosts to choose from. Three! EMMA FROSTS! These people are fans and it shows. Mcfarlane on the other hand... If it's not Batman or a character in a popular game or movie, you're probably not gonna see them. God help you if you like any of the women. They've been at this for years and still don't have a classic versions of Wonder Woman or Harley Quinn. Unfortunately I'm a DC fan, so I'm stuck with Batman Multiverse.

go McFarlane! ive been collecting legends since i was 17.. ten years now and i just got into dc McFarlane...the quality is night and damn day each figure ive gotten from dc has an insane amount of detail that legends is just lacking

Marvel Legends is good for articulation and good reuse body molds. And it’s mostly affordable However for better quality I see a lot of folks go for either Mafex, Mezco, or SH Figurarts. Albeit for higher prices.

Cooked the books by undercutting hasbro....u could make the same amount of money as each other, but the cheaper product would appear to have shifted more units. My 6 year old thinks DC toys are crap, "dis is na marvol lugends daddeee, i don want it! I want a muvvel legjjuns pweeeze"

Marvel legends boxes are kinda annoying now with the figure swapping and the way you cant see anything

Dc multiverse figures have bad proportions, horrible quality control, and barely any accessories. But that is obviously just my opinion I just think that marvel legends is better

like mcfarlene or not theres no doubt dc multiverse has 100x more effort put in than marvel legends just walk into a gamestop and see what theyre selling 100% its dc multiverse

I think the McFarland line is pretty mixed in quality, but the guy seems nice.

DC Multiverse is just all around better than Marvel Legends. Better quality, sculpt and scale.

I'm more a marvel fan than a DC one, but saying so.... Really enjoy the Peacemaker Serie!!!

Todd has saved me a lot of money...!! I'm not into the 7" line.!! Too bad, really, ...because I would have liked to expand my line of Action Figures. Also, ... I don't like the 'look' of the McFarlane figures...!! Wanted to... but just don't.!! I come down on the Marvel Legends line.!! Thanks for the comparisons, ...guys.!!

I think in 2023 any of these should come with a good amount of accessories. Mcfarlane is lacking in this so badly lol, I can get just as many if not more accessories with one Neca purchase as like 4 Mcfarlane purchases lol

Hey. Today I just went to a toy store here, in my country, Chile, and i have in my hands booth kind of figures. But, i choose marvel one. Price, sculpt and variety sold the figure. DC comics have awesome characters but they are all the same batman or superman and they cant put side to side with another dc comics because they have no same scale. Marvel do. I grew up with superpower's series and i liked em so much. Nevertheless, toybiz marvel legends came first here and i got mad with em.

Dc wins bigger is better when it comes to scale.

Anybody that is ok with buying a figure at 6 inch for 20 dollars but doesn't want more figure at 7 inch for the same price is the biggest moron ever. Also when you have 10 plus years of making characters your last two years will be more diverse because you already made the heavy hitters. This guy is stupid for using a two year window like it erase the other 8 plus years.

I’d love to see Hasbros take on the DC figure line. I think that with the proper scale and articulation of the marvel legends line the DC figures would sell even better. I’m all for a Marvel and DC Legends line!!

I personally do not like the DC Multiverse figures because they are too tall for my liking and the articulation is horrible. The sculpts are beautiful I just wish they were in better scale with the 6 inch line. The DC figures are great if you’re just going to keep them on display. That’s my biggest knock on the DC multiverse figures.
