phantom hourglass is mid but spirit tracks is beyond underrated… it’s legit got the best version of zelda in the series and the music and story blows phantom hourglass out of the water in my opinion

This was my first Zelda game (technically my first Zelda game was the links awakening remake, but I only played 30 minutes of that before getting lost and giving up and never touching it again) and I know this game is very different from other Zelda games so I’m not really sure if I can call myself a Zelda fan but I did still really like it. It may not be perfect but there’s a reason it has its reputation. I want to play the Wii U version someday. At Its core breath of the wild is a Wii U game so I’m curious to see what it would be like on there

The one thing I love and hate about his game is Demise, introduced as the Demon King who "Conquered Time" and the "Source of all Monsters" who is after the Triforce. Would it kill for us to actually get a Background on what is basically the Ultimate Evil of the Zeldaverse?

My favourite thing introduced from this Game is the Fused Shadows. For me, it's one of the best looking "Dark Artifact's" from a ton of games i've played.

I love the Great Sea I feel it was such a breath of fresh air for traveling than in usual Games, I actually didn't mind that the Islands were quite the distance from each other since it helped make the Great Sea feel like an actual sea.

only 2k subs and already doing the youtube special of b-tching about things for no reason at all, just to complain.. enemy names ? were honestly wasting time to put that in the script just to complain about a name of an enemy.... its not the end of the world just dumb and gets annoying when you watch as much gaming content as i do. i also cant believe the words single player are said so many times in a review of MULTIPLAYER games.. like what did you expect..? the mandatory multiplayer tag was just for fun ?

If I had a nickel for every time there was a multiplayer 3DS game that nobody asked for based off of a pre existing Nintendo series, I would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice (Metroid Prime Federation force is an underrated gem and I will die on that hill)

Honestly, as someone who lives in the Southern hemisphere, I do think your point about "Well what if it's the Southern hemisphere" is very weak - because we know it's not. FNAF is very obviously set in the US. Countries in the Southern hemisphere just don't have pizzeria culture like the US does. It's set in the Northern hemisphere.

1:35:12, They could have fixed this tedious grind by having it be similar to sage wills or light of blessing, where you can find energy cell fragments scattered throughout the Zonai ruins in the depths. "But then this would have invalidated Zonite!" no it could still be used in autobuild, and the instead of being used to make crystallized charges the zonite is used to make Zonai devices, that way when your exploring the depths and run out of a certain device you like using, you don't have to go scouring the sky's for dispensors, you can just stop by a forge construct and buy whatever they have in stock.

37:27, perhaps I'm just in a different space, but I've never heard people complain that totk doesn't "stick to lore". Zelda lore has always mostly been a lot of randomly connected dots from the games and books that the community has pieced together. And that's the fun of it, that piecing together nonsense into sense. People will complain about "the lore" now, but whenever the next game comes out we'll have already found a way to stick it neatly into the timeline. The Zelda community loves creating and expanding the lore, however, that does not work for the story. I entirely disagree with Aonuma about his approach, and I disagree with you when you say that "making your own story is more engaging". Puzzling out the ancient history of these worlds and connecting them to each other is one thing, but trying to come up with justifications for why characters do things that are either nonsensical or spontaneous and really only serve to move the plot forward, is just aggravating and is why totk's story is heavily complained about. I've heard numerous theories from people about why this Hyrule was founded by the Zonai and not the Skyloftians, but when you ask "why do you think Ganondorf hated Rauru so much?" all you really get is a "meh Idk, he was just evil I guess", I agree that Ganondorf hated him because he saw him as a weak king who wasn't using the power of the stones to their full potential, but the fact no one can seem to agree on a motivation just feels bad. I think just a little more time spent with the characters in the past, specifically Mineru, Sonia, and Ganondorf, would've helped alleviate some gripes.

40:23, I think a simple way to explain this would've been to have a memory of council meeting between Rauru, ganondorf, and the sages. Would've given us an interesting look into how Rauru was "keeping an eye" on Ganondorf, while also fleshing out their relationship and maybe even helping give Ganondorf a more understandable motivation than "I will plunge this world into darkness. Because at Some points he's spouting about how the strong should rule the weak, and other times it seems more like he just hates Rauru and the Hylians, it's a very weirdly unfocused in his dialogue.

I vastly prefer totk to botw, but I still see it as more flawed than botw. 24:34, This point about more structure is one of my bigger gripes, yes totk has more structure to the narrative, but frankly it doesn't feel like enough. All the regional phenomena have decently solid structured build up to the temples, but the overall narrative feels kinda loose, a simple fix for me would've been that every time you complete a regional phenomena you return to Purah and some other story event takes place, like someone discovers a secret Zonai town in the sky, or a group of zonai research team members are kidnapped by the Yiga clan and it takes you on a mission into the depths that sees you battling Sooga from Age of Calamity. even the event we did get that was suppose to be the big shake up moment, didn't really carry much weight. investigating Hyrule castle and fighting phantom Ganon was supposed to be a big turning point, and in the moment when you are playing through it, it certainly does feel like it. But then Ganondorf gives his big "oh I'm so evil" monologue and we just go back to business as usual. I thought at the very least maybe golden monsters would start showing up (because why are they not in this game? seriously they brought in amiibo items but couldn't port over botw DLC assets?), or gloom monsters from the depths would appear on the surface. totk tries to tell a more present narrative, but for that to work you need to have more story beats, and with how open you can approach the story it still falls flat. Not to say it doesn't have it's impactful moments, but those moments would've hit WAY harder with some more tweaking to the structure.

It's NOT true that people soon after the release of FNAF 4 thought the bite of 87 wasn't what we saw. It took some time for people to realize that. Scott even added '1983' as a code in Sister Location to hint at FNAF 4 taking place in 83, since people were still theorizing that it could take place in 87.

A really disappointing game, for me and... well, most others, considering the tapering sales, lack of interest in content creation, review sentiments and so on. Listening to the video feels a bit like stepping into an alternate reality.

This was one of my favorite games as a kid, I remember being curious about what would happen if I beat it without an coins and ended up playing much like you did other than making sure I had a multiple of 10 coins at the end of every level so I could throw them and complete the level with 0 coins. There was a lot of backtracking to get coins but it was very similar.
