Not sure about the extra plug inside the standard board, also on the 370 motor. Havent had any experience tweaking the standard board, got mine and replace them with my own package of brushless motor set. Sorry buddy, can't help on that board. But mine also the steering keeps getting off center after a few times playing. Most probably something wrong with the standard design, that is why most videos I saw on the D12 they custom modded the steering system. I just keep mine as is as not playing much now. Haha..

The 1 black wire goes to the shroud of the housing cable, may look like an aluminium foil or wire netting, try to trace along the wire. Mine also have 5 at the keyboard. That 1 is useless. Only the 1 goes inside the cable is going to use.

Just notice when watching back my video, if you cut from the cable stopper, only 1 wire is looking like a bare wire with no outside layer, that 1 is un-use.

@alienmartian22 it doesn't look like shroud, is it okay if I just isolate that cable and don't use it?

@@tiktv9087 i just left it there and cover with electrical tape. Still using the keyboard till now.

@alienmartian22 the only question is for is how do I know which one is -v and the ground. They're the same color (black)

All are the same size so no need to remember. Haha..

The other 1 is ground for the original cable outer sleeve, no need to use. Guess its there for shielding purpose. But mine is not black in the other end, it is actually bare wires. If you cut it at the length, you should see the difference. From the connector, you would not see anything.

JST is the connector company, the type/model, I dont know. Not sure if you can find any cable connectors like that, that is why I just mod/solder myself.

Press it in like normal? If it is too tight, you can heat up the gear first then insert.

@@alienmartian22 I was considering removing the coating with denatured alcohol then painting it. But you just lightly sanded it huh. How’s the paint job holding up? And thanks for the response

Slight sanding over the surface then a few coats of paint plus clear coat on top should do and harderned. The rubber coating is quite thin and not that hard to paint over. This is my backup radio for my toy drones, not used as much, so not sure about longevity. Just now checking on it, paint still quite hard and no signs of coming off.

Not sure bout that. There are markings on the usb cable and the keyboard's board. I just follow that. It is just a simple D+, D-, power and ground wires.

Nice. This was also my old and frequently use keyboard. And having the ability to disconnect the keyboard when necessary is really convenient. Don't forget the USB-C female port (with 4 pin board type), that is the only thing to buy for this conversion, apart from a USB-C cable that is (usually now everyone most likely would have laying around).. hehe.

​@@alienmartian22hlo bro i also did this usb c mod on my k552 but now when i plug it in my laptop it doesn't light up most of the times like 8 out of 10 times and in device manager it shows usb port reset failure and also shows code 43 .I tried everything to fix this but cannot find anything pls help me with this otherwise i will have to throw this 6 month old keyboard in trash now.

@@syedqaiserabbas7319 check back the connections. Try using other cables and USB port. If you have another PC, try on that also. But, looking at that, I think you have a bad connection on the wires. Try to disconnect back and install back the wires.

PLA plate, Gundam builders know what that is. Just custom cut according to the size.

Well, it is cheap china stuff, so it does not come with any manuals. That is what great about this hobby, you get to think and solved all in your mind. If you cannot do that, might as well get a new hobby. Hahaha.

This is a standard USB diagram. Simple, just 4 points. On my keyboard also have labels for each wires, and also the USB type-C female port. Only 4 wires, Positive, Negative, Data In and Data Out. Foolproof concept. Check your keyboard mainboard and see the solder point have markings or not and the wire colours, before bashing other people like that. There is a thing call Google that can teach people all about USB. Even shows where the solder points is. Not all keyboards are the same design, better open up yours first to see.

@@alienmartian22 (it was written after it was fully disassambled, and -as said- found no markings on any socket or pin, and found non standard colored wires on those non labeled legs :D )

Mine only have 4 wires. Red, black, yellow and green. No brown. On the connector, there is a label printed on the PCB to know which wires is what. I based on that. My USB breakout board only have 4 pads. So I assumed the extra wire on the connector is for USB cable shielding. Did not connect anything on that 1, just secure with tape to avois shorting.

From the original board, there are 5 wires, 4 are silicone insulated, 1 just a normal coated wire strands, that is normally for cable shielding purposes, so, not in use for this.

Yes. Tested with 4S, got very hot motors. I think I will change the motors later on.

Hi i just build my toothpick 3inch with stock betaflight 4.2.3 and 16.7 blhelli s it is my first build and i was getting hot motor on both back motor and warm-hot motor on front i have set the throttle limit to scale 50% cause i am not in very big area，but the motor is still hot i am flying on 3inch toothpick frame 5200kv 1204 flash hobby motor 3016 3blade gnb 500 3s jhemcu f405 pro all up weight is around 120g what should i do to help reduce hot motor issue？ -flash blheli 16.97 and make it 48khz will help？& enable rpm filtering？ -beta flight pid slider？ fliter slider？ -reduce motor output limit？and increase back the throttle limit percent？ or any other solutions？

@@quaneu9216 i just reset to stock PID and i flash the ESC using the Bluejay, it is running warm now, not hot like previous did. And yeah, there is 48khz option in Bluejay, that the BLHeli_S did not have. That is what I use now.
