There is a TH-cam channel that painted Imperial Assault stormtroopers recesses gray and then he made it black with nun oil citadel until it became black. It works well

IG11 is definitely being slept on. I ran han, chewie, igll. 3 scatter fleets and 6 commando snipers and it did very well. Probably not the new meta but it had teeth. Problem is you have to have LOS blocking terrain on the tables for rebels to have a shot.

As a note, I went 4-2, finishing fourth at SoCal in a list that featured 4 sniper rifles and 2 commandos (yes, 501st). Cheaper snipers would mean even more models getting picked up before my opponents could enter a reasonable threat bubble.

Rebel Sleeper Cell: R4 + Prepared Supplies + Situational Awareness + Emergency Transponders seems like the way to go. If you run them with a leader with Take Cover that will help them get to an objective token so R4 can do his thing if you needed to run them without all the other upgrades.

1:01:01 the token is dropped by the opponent not the person who controlled the token. Also in your cohesion talk you missed that if you can’t cohere then just place as close as possible

If a unit drops an asset token (through dying or panicking) it is actually the opponent who places the asset token on the battlefield. Big deal because it’ll go to the worst spot, not the best.

Dont forget prepared positions is optional....i understand that you would be wasting an advantage, but to have a rebel mp squad that can move up and distribut ion round one is a good idea...very terrain dependent though
