The Cisco Kid October 1, 1951 Open and Close (from 1981 Rhodes Productions package)
มุมมอง 3832 ปีที่แล้ว
The Rhodes Productions package includes credits tacked on at the end of the original credits (although writing and directing credits are cut out in this episode). Also, the Rhodes Productions logo at the end, though a bit truncated, is the same one found at the end of many "Pitfall" episodes (that game show which Alex Trebek hosted). Aired late on April 30, 1985 on WTTE Channel 28 in Columbus, Ohio. Original Source: Vance's Media Treasures I have also posted some other bits of stuff of his on my main channel @retronewfoundland- most recently the last two videos there as of the close of January 12, 2023.

Family Feud September 18, 2000 with Louie Anderson hosting
มุมมอง 12K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This might get blocked. This is the only episode I have in the Louie Anderson era. Back when it was revived in 1999, few thought it would still be on to this day (23 years and counting with multiple hosts! Prior versions with Richard Dawson and Ray Combs did not make it to a decade, though Dawson logged a 10th year when doing Feud again for the 1994-95 season). For Louie Anderson (1953-2022).

Created by the great Chuck Barris, this was always fun to watch. Barris had the touch of gold. Everything Barris created was a winner: $1.98 Beauty Show, The Dating Game, The Newlywed Game and most famously The Gong Show. R.I.P. Chuck
We used to be a real country...Look at what they took away from us.
Who’s more funnier on the Chuck Barris shows? Rip Taylor? Chuck? Bob Eubanks? Or Jim Lange?
loved this!!
Oh THAT is funny.
Growing up in the ‘70s was the sh*t. Free spirited women in tube tops and cut offs. That’s the America I want to remember.
I decided to Google contestant Harley Zumbrum out of curiosity and his obituary came up... He passed away about six weeks before I posted this comment. Looks like he did what he loved and had some minor roles on great TV shows while in Hollywood.... good for him! Harley died Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. Harley resided in Hollywood, California for a number of years where he was an actor. He had roles in the following movies and television shows: Con Air, Jack Frost, George Lopez, Gilmore, Girls, Charmed, Malcolm in the Middle, According To Jim, Boy Meets World, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Punk’d, LA Heat, Dying To Love You, Six Feet Under, NYPD Blue, Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman, Drew Carey, Joey, Diagnosis Murder, The 70’s, Mad About You, Young and The Restless, and Brooklyn South. When Harley returned to Nebraska, he lived in Columbus and his hometown of Norfolk where he was a talented musician. He was a member of the following bands: Bloody Stub/Fat Chance, Quazy, Shiloh, NoBody’s Business, and Stonehouse. Harley was inducted into the Nebraska Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Nebraska Country Music Hall of Fame. RIP
.....as an old soul person for 1978, i forgot all about The $1.98 Beauty Show until I saw the commercial on Gane Show Network in 2002.. this is hilarious.
A white girl from South Gate, CA? That's how you know this show is old. (She had to have worked at either Ashton's, Ralph's, or Sav On) And another one from Lynwood...ha!

I'd love to see this whole series.
I remember this show how can you not it's a one of a kind so to speak. A friend of mine reminded me of it one morning while out to breakfast and it brought me to this video, and ow I can't stop laughing.i love it.
D 9 s 0
This typifies the era.
The one and only, god bless his soul and spirit wherever he is!
This is the greatest theme song, EVER.
I just discovered this episode today.... and wow, the VERY FIRST question is "Donald Trump is so rich, he not only has a phone in his limo, he has a (blank) in it!" Contestant says "pool", celebs say "toilet" (2), "switchboard", "pool" (Christine), "TV", and "fax machine"!
2:10 88년도 극장에서 눈물 흘렸던 장면입니다. 다시 그때로 되돌아 가고 싶습니다. 진심으로....
he sang?!
a magazine having an ambassador to a country! andre was it!
Hemorrhoids and Iregularity. Diarrhea?
10x better than any of this shit on TV in 2024.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
him curtsying to Yves Saint Laurent at 3:23 is so cute
Love him as a fashion icon but real men don’t do curtsy period
Where's a gong when you need it??
21:10 - Listen to Rip rip! From that low note way the hell up to that high note - - talk about chops! And not talking his sideburns. Too bad GSN didn't let him finish that bravo performance!!!
Ascend that staircase, master! You own it.
This had Gong Show DNA.
That's literally the Gong Show stage with the gong removed.
was this the height of rip taylor's success?
a bomb of some kind
Hemorrhoids? Regularity? Those two wrong answer made me laugh so hard.
Looks like the set of the Lawrence welk show
God Bless Rip Taylor.
I read this lasted 2 seasonz
I remember watching this every Saturday night with my Family when I was 6 years old. My Dad used to love this show. I liked it when Rip Taylor would sometimes grab that envelope and say "Give me that!! I hate that guy." Good times.
I remember going to the Bronx zoo with my brother, my mom, and her boyfriend at the time circa 2010 ish and there was like this lion or cheetah or I don't know, some big cat, and we took a picture of it right behind my brother waiting for the right opportunity to jump and get him but there was glass so it couldn't. My mom was just laughing. Why are humans like this?
Does the contestant keep the money won?
Not for a pilot.
Before that super match-up, which hampered thebflowbof the game. GREAT celebrities in this pilot. Loved Marsha! RIP Bert, you were a great emcee! The MG90 think music is the only post-70s music that works as well as the 70s, IMHO.
Bert was so much better than Ross Schafer.
Rayburn should have been given a chance at this, though
Ross Schafer was pathetic. What did Mark Goodson see in him anyway?
@@mitchellries256 same with Jon Bauman. He was the second host of MGHS Hour. He was horrible.
@@DBR00 Thank goodness it wasn't Ross Schaefer and Jon Bauman.
ALT: The MOST ptretencious person ever!!! 🤮
This is great. I worked with Rip in the late 90s. Crazy man.
From the days before Anna and yves banished him
Interesting that in 2029, it will be 40 years since that Rolling Stones question, it was somewhat recycled in the Ross Shafer MG and Marcia Wallace said Gall Stones.
Mimsie as Sherlock Holmes
Officer Mimsie
Wow, an American knows American geography.
Charles Nelson Reilly was the main regular in the Ross Shafer version. Brad Garrett was a semi regular. Khrystyne Haje did six weeks of the Ross Shafer version, so I consider her an ABC star semi-regular.
I Was 1 Going on 2 When This Aired! R.I.P Louie Anderson.
Did Harley & Michelle appear on this version after it went to series with Ross Shafer?
Harley did. Michelle No.
