Dropping The Height Of Cut On The Backyard Lawn!!
มุมมอง 335 หลายเดือนก่อน
Todays video was a full mow day! However, I decided to have some fun and drop the height of cut on the backyard lawn to 1/2 inch! I wanted to see how it would look and see if it would cut alright at that height. I was pretty impressed by the overall result. While I might have cut it at that height it's not gonna stay at that height. It looks much better at the 5/8 inch height and that's where i...

This stuff is brilliant!
Brodie you blocked me on IG I tried to send you a request like 2 days ago..
this was a great help i appreciate you bro
Awesome!! Glad it was able to help you out. Appreciate the support! 👍🏻
Proud of you!
👍
They do sell a rubberized 10mm hose on Amazon. This would make it somehow much easier to do.
Ya I could see that possibly working forsure. Just don't know if it would still leak once the oil starts flowing. One of those ball valve drain plugs would be cool that some people use on cars though I think!
I bought two of these hoses, one each for my reel mower and pressure washer. There is no leak afterward. Just need to tighten the end caps. No leak at all. I usually run the mower about five minutes allowing for a easy drainage.
@@stanleyhenry3700 Interesting! I'll keep that in mind for next time forsure then. Appreciate the input and info! Thanks 👍🏻
Congrats
Thank you! Appreciate the support!
Where did you buy your fog lights from
Got them from DDM Tuning
you will learn that mclane does not change anything overtime. They just adjusted the holes to allow a lower HOC and you have the same grass catcher that my dad had on his mower he bought in 1990
Ya I've definitely noticed that as well. They just stick with what they've always done and what works. Just kinda said my thoughts on what could make their mowers better is all.
How about old sheet rock ( dry wall) letting it rot in the soil over winter you know let natrue do its thing rain snow rot ect ect does that work
I've never tried or experienced doing it that way so I can't really say if I would recommend it or not. If you wanted to try that I'd probably try breaking it all up to get it into smaller pieces and maybe even into like powder form like the stuff I used. If you let stuff sit on the lawn for too long it could do more damage than good. Like if you had bigger pieces and just threw them out there, by the time it were to fully break down you'd probably have damaged areas in the lawn from it just sitting. If you're referring to trying it on just bare soil, then I could possibly see that not being an issue. Also the gypsum usually comes in the granular pellets or powder form for a reason because it breaks down fast into the soil. Similar to compost as well. Hopefully that helps!
hows the soil now after 8 months? i swear by gypsum for clay
I've definitely noticed a big difference! Especially in areas I used to always have trouble with. Granted some of that is also because of the grass type I chose which is more flexible with certain conditions compared to others. But overall I've been impressed! I'm definitely planning to use it again for next years season. Going to be addressing more of the problem areas and doing a "compaction mix" as well.
If you lower it and now your top preload is now loose why,,?,,,and now what do i do?
So from my experience if your car is jacked up and on jack stands the coilover/spring will seem loose because it's in the air and not under any load or pressure. Even if the spring is snug to begin with. If that makes sense
You talk to much
You're sexy and you mow it!! Keeping it green.
Congrats!! Love watching your videos and you. Best mower I've ever seen.
Thank you! I appreciate the support!
Congrats cousin ❤! You keep up the hard work !
Thank you!! I appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Engine looks weak.
A general rule is heavy clay is also very alkaline so i would recommend a fast acting sulfur. Organic matter and carbon carbon carbon. Green sand is good too and you can't over use greensand
Perfect video bro thank you
Thanks bro! 🙏🏽
Thanks
you made a lot of sense thank you for this
Alguien me ayudan mi carro golpea. Mucho. Brinca es duro que ago
Wrong about pre load. Pre load does nothing to spring rate/ stiffness
“I’m not gonna talk much on these” and the proceeds to completely brake it down.
Thanks man. Was confused about how to get thr handle to sit lower
Ya kinda is a little odd forsure. Glad my video was able to help you out! Appreciate the support.
I used gypsum undo my garden vegetables this year. I had a huge harvest especially tomatoes and zucchini. 😄
Nice!! That's awesome! Shoot I might have to try that sometime. Never thought about using it for vegetable plants before
Nice.
Thanks for the education 🙏. Can that be done with all coil overs?
I have a new Toro battery mower, it sucks, drive wheel falls off in 2nd hour, battery shorts, and on-line Toro will not take it back. They do not take items back if you use it for 1 minute! Their rear left geared wheel unbolts itself from the bracket, it self destructs! Two others have the same problem. Their repair dealer literally told me "with Toro, its Buyer Beware". I have a Toro case number, a BBB case number, and a US Consumer Product Safety Commission case number. Save yourself and learn from my mistake, and stay away from Toro.
Thank you I'm about to install one soon and it's my 1st time
Nice!! One thing I'd say is just take your time and don't rush. Also just double check things once you're finished with it all. That way your not making double the work for yourself
many thanks for the the video , its my first time hearing about the rotary scissors , as you said the finished result looks very crisp n clean , you did a nice job on that garden , great work pal
Thanks man!! I appreciate the support.
Lol California sucks. Bunch of commies running the place
I had my 2003 GLE for 6 years and got hit in the front in the beginning of 2022 😭 but then I got an 03 GLE and got it repainted a different white since it was pearl white and fully clean and done with
Dammm that sucks! That's a good pick up though! Good stuff
Yo yo where you get the steering wheel from? I’m trying to get one for mine
I got mine off eBay a long time ago. The brand is Viilante. They have their own website that I would recommend checking out because they have a big selection to choose from.
FYI. Gypsum does none of the claims stated. Simply google gypsum myths. Unless you have sodic soil you’re wasting money. Don’t trust what’s on the bag.
Talks to much.
Appreciate the feedback. I'll take that into consideration for future videos.
Shouldn't be hardit should be under back seat.
Thanks bro easy explanation!. I have the same setup should be a breeze
What is the height when it is folded?
Not totally sure. I don't really store it with the handle down. I'm assuming you're referring to using the stow away part? Like when the Handle is folded and you want to store it vertically?
Nice yard!
Thank you! I appreciate that! 👍🏻
Well I have to admit, I nearly got a chubby at the reveal. That is a sweet mower. I have a 20” it’s about 25yrs old with a gx120 and I love the dam thing here in NJ, can’t wait to get home from work so I can cut my grass with it. Good luck with that bad boy!
Hahaha too funny 😂! Dang that's pretty cool! Good stuff. I definitely enjoy mine! Happy I decided to go with it.
LMAO!😂😂😂😂😂
Any links for the bulbs?
Unfortunately I don't. I got them from a local spot near me. Sorry about that! You can most likely find any red LED tail light bulbs online though. eBay or Amazon forsure
@Cpimms Alright. Thank you bro. Love the car. I have the same one. And I absolutely love it
@@2001maxima_bullit That's awesome! Good stuff 👍🏻
You think 2002 tail lights would work for a 2001? @Cpimms
@@2001maxima_bullit They might but I would do some research. Or actually if you have Facebook I would recommend joining/following the group called "my5thgen" they post a bunch a stuff about Maxima's and they could probably give you good input on that.
Ahhhhh da😂
“So basically this is how I do it” so basically I’m going to show you how I do it” so basically what I’m going to do is, so basically I’ll show you what I do “ so basically what I do is”. Holy fuck,, and it doesn’t smell bad at all. It smells like a solvent. Your actin like it smells like actual shit.
This video is beyond fucking confusing. You didn't discuss using the bag or the bag action lever whatsoever in the beginning of this video. This mower is absolute dogshit without the bag, it does nothing but blow grass directly at your legs, shoes, and socks = nothing out the side. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF SHIT MOWER. And do not watch anymore of this guys videos. He cares more about storing this mower under his bed for convenience apparently.
What type of sand is it and where do you purchase it from?
I used Masonry Sand. I got it from a material place near me that sells a bunch of different materials for construction/landscapers etc. I've also used Medium Sand before from home depot which worked well. I would say try to find a place local to you that sells different materials like I mentioned. That might be your best bet. Especially if you want it delivered to you.
My rear tires rub with the fender, do you think these will help preventing that? I don’t car if it’s stiff but just the rubbing is bothering me.
Tough to say honestly. Could be too low that's why it's rubbing or the coilovers themselves could be going bad. Hard to say. You can try raising the height and see if that fixes it. Probably where I'd start
Roll your fenders or camber the rear wheels if you like the ride height. If not then raise the coilover.
