@4ndrewthe Cheers fella. Weve always done a shuttle . Meet at Newtonmore and unload all the kit n boats at the Outdoor centre then drive to Speybay and leave a car there. Drive back and leave a car at the centre or near the Chapel. We once paid for a taxi shuttle and trailer years ago. I've never done the trip solo though. It'd probably have to be a taxi job with a roof rack or trailer if you're solo. Great trip 🙂👍. Enjoy the planning and have a fantastic adventure. @ yeah, only reason I’ll bring it up mate is because it happened to me about 10 years ago I was out with my brother and I slipped down a slope and I ended up dislocating my shoulder because I put my arm out to stop myself from falling into the lake but not only did I do that afterwards I found out I’d shattered my shoulder bone I was in a meant pain. I couldn’t move if it went from my brother being there, I don’t know what I would’ve done. I had to trap as well most Spain never been in mate and I thought of the time. What would I do if I was on my own scaring me, it could happen to anybody

@diogenesegarden5152 yeh I'm still using it 👍. The sheath has held up well and I've just improved it by putting two Yew pins through the open edge which keeps the knife square in its sheath. Works great 👍 Cheers

@SimpleAdventuresLLMSX Nice one. They make some good gear. That new stamped steel Skillet looks good. I prefer a top folding handle though. All down to personal preference ain't it 🙂👍

@nomadicstar7888 yeh it's surprising how easy it is to forget and I know people say 'I wont' but if I can eliminate that chance then its worth doing and you'll not go wrong with the Fire Maple. I've been cooking sausages with mine for a group of 10 today lol 😋

@lmcc8798 I think Pathfinder have just released a similar style Skillet that's made from stamped steel and is supposed to season well. Not sure of the weight, think it's a similar size but I bet its a good pan. Stanley make some great gear don't they 🙂👍

@Tony-yu7on Oreyt Tony 👍, I've not got a lot of experience with Helle knives. One of my lads has one which he likes but I've never used one properly. I'm pretty sure it'll be reyt though and become a trusted companion and a knife for life. They're a respected company aren't they 🙂. Bet you're buzzing to get out n put it through its paces 👍

All their thoughts and memories revolve around us. They're amazing aren't they. Absolutely the best adventure buddies. It is sad that they live short lives but we give em a good life eh Tony. He had problems with the time I had with him was amazing my best pal sure he could understand what I was saying. I used to take him out camping and Fishing really miss him.
