SF6 Non-Cinematic Supers with Applications for E.Honda
Non-Cinematic Supers in Street Fighter 6 are an underexplored topic that can be used to gain the upper hand on an opponent! This guide focuses on Ryu and E.Honda's non-cinematic SA3 and their applications for these characters.

Combo notation legend:
angled bracket = cancel
comma = link
PC = punish counter
DR = drive rush
DRC = drive rush cancel
OD = overdrive
punchwalk = 236K 5P
launcher = 236K 2P
dl. = delay timing
microwalk = walk forward for a few frames

    I love Ken’s because you can either do an OD/EX tatsumaki after the lvl 3 and you can make sure its non cinematic by doing his target combo (medium punch, heavy punch) into the kick rekka, THEN lvl 3. Brings them all the way to the wall usually. You can also do a medium shoryuken and another light shoryuken right after with good timing

    Man please tell me how to kara cancel into headbutt! I just can’t figure it out.

      Kara cancel headbutt takes a lot of practice. The trick is to slide from from back to down forward on your way to forward. Plink a punch button as soon as possible after the heavy kick. Use my inputs as a reference if you need too.

      Is this something that’s easier done on leverless? Because I’m doing it on stick and it’s seems damn near impossible

      @@jaylenthomas6960 I would imagine this is easiest on leverless. And currently I only know how to play on leverless; however, the few times I've tried this on stick I've been able to pull it off while taking all my concentration. The hardest part is probably the down forward input, which seems like a nightmare to hit especially on the P2 side.

      @@j_harms bro you’re an inspiration I can do damn near ever Kara cancel you’ve shown here except for head butt and Level 2 I’m working on it honestly but I don’t think even if I do get this I’ll be able to do it consistently. Shit I can barely do level 2 raw consistently without it giving me oicho throw.

    Where was the reverse Cr HK level 3 combo? That does more damage than anything I saw here, except the second to last combo, although all of these are dope

      The 2HK side switch combo does not do more damage than the optimal level 3 routes. However, it might do more than the meter build routes. Most of the meter build routes also have to be done in the corner anyway, where the 2HK combo will whiff.

    How do you do standing light kick into the down down punch clap move?

      Canceling lights in general into clap is tough to do. I use the method where I hit down down punch after pressing light kick for standing normals. There's also a second method where you can hit down, then release back to neutral and hit light kick, and afterwards hit down punch. This method is used for crouching moves into clap.

      Headbutt into level 3 if a tough input, try practicing it on 50% game speed in training mode until you can do that consistently. The cancel window for headbutt level 3 is much smaller than hands level 3 or sumo walk level 3.

      @@Ryan-so4xl Level 2 can only be canceled out of OD hands and OD sumo walk. Because OD headbutt is a reversal, it doesn't have super cancel properties.

    After buttslam you can do a fwd jump belly flop cross up, i dont think its guaranteed but it seems okay. There was a juggle combo from the sumo dash launcher into drive rush sweep canceled into SA3, that side switched. Don't forget about back throw lol.

      You're right, buttslam won't hit crouchers. But I think it's an unexpected option especially against an unprepared opponent. And yes, back throw will work! However on any throw that is off a +3 setup your opponent can tech back, but a 4 frame jab is guaranteed. Never know when you might need this type of stuff.

      this option will lose to a crosscut antiair, and even if it does land, you'll be too far for an immediate DI
