A video clip from the day of the discovery of Le Chameau's treasure on September 22nd, 1965.
Hi everyone! This is a video clip from a documentary I made over 10 years ago about my father's treasure ship discovery, of Le Chameau. On this day, September 22nd, 1965, Alex, Dave, and Harvey, solved the riddle of Le Chameau's treasure. Plus, after the video, I have an update of what I am doing for the facebook and youtube site for the next few months.
Interested in buying the book, "Seaweed & Gold", buy it here: capebretonbooks.com/products/seaweed-and-gold

    Since I was a child, I’ve been convinced that there’s treasure on or around a few tiny islands that I can see from my home in Cape Breton. (Bras d’Or Lakes is what we see when we look out front) I just told my brother yesterday that we should get a boat and go check out the islands. I heard that one of the islands are full of snakes! Edit: I’m a friendly native 😅

    Pretty cool video but, there are dozens of documented and undocumented shipwrecks in that area. The Battle of Fort Toulousse was only 20 km from Point Michaud.

      I think it's illegal to look for shipwrecks in NS, with the new technology they would have no problem finding all these old shipwrecks but it's just not legal anymore.

    • @markdonovan5415
      @markdonovan5415 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TeaGFIt is 100% legal to look for wrecks, as long as you do not disturb the site. Regarding current technology it has definatly made the search easier but it is still difficult. Our rough waters are constantly stirring up the bottom camouflaging sites.

    Interesting, but as a treasure diver why would I look for treasure if the Government is just going to take it? Diving is very expensive. Good luck Nova Scotia, divers are not coming there until you adopt the example of Britain which compensates divers for relics.
