Op minuut 11:39 zijn jullie bij een hut/cabin aan gekomen. Welke website of app vinden jullie zo iets? Daar ben ik nog niet helemaal achter. Er staat wel een link in de beschrijving, maar dat zijn volgens mij andere hutten waar je ook altijd voor moet betalen en ergens een sleutel moet halen. Hopelijk snappen jullie me met wat ik bedoel 😅😅...

When changing the oil, it is a good idea to wear an old pair of household rubber gloves when removing the oil plug. It keeps oil off your skin (used engine oil is carcinogenic) and it stops you scalding yourself if the oil is still hot.

Bravo! My hat is off to both of you. What a great job! You did overcome some issues. Figured it out and got it going. That's what it's all about persevere! I have a 2024 DR. 650 that have done a lot of work on change. The complete suspension complete new all exhaust Open up the air box but a Harley TM40 carburetor that really woke up the motor. I live in Colorado in the Rocky mountains so I ride it high altitude and this setup that I have has never let me down. I love my DR but I do have on order a new CF Moto 450 MT. Waiting for him to come into the states. Can't wait! I already have a ton of stuff for this bike. So good job to you all. Love your videos. Keep up the good work. Keep pushing on

I found a french guy who was really into old Dr's mentioning the pistons specifically on the older modells. He strongly recommend a certain brand för a replacement, hope I can find him for you.

helo great video. What size jet do you use on carburetor? i recently got the same bike and mine has 150 jet i dont know is this stock or someone changed it/

My 2004 cagiva navigator is the best bike I ever bought!

Take out the engine and remove head and cylinder, probably your piston rings are shot and will need to be replaced. If you do take it apart, better look at all the seals and gaskets while the engine is out. all in all, your baby wants a complete overhaul :)

It has to be piston's rings then.

Nearly same experience here. Bought an 23 years old Aprilia Pegaso 650 wich the former owner had just used without paying any special attention on service and maintainence. After 200 km of testriding the headgasket was blown. But on that bike it's not possible to take the head of as long as the motor is fully mounted in the frame. An by working on that I found a lot of small but importend things that should have been sorted out once you have the motor on the workbench. Not only on the motor.
