Manaan in kotor1 was the first city in a game where I actually felt some gravity to my actions. Granted was in my early teens, and took me by surprise as hell. But it did make me more cautious in future games, because I hated being locked out of Manaan. Not seen any game dare to do that yet that I've played

I've always thought that the surviving Jedi Masters that gather on Dantooine are just three arrogant fools, who fail to learn from their errors. Vrook Lamar, for example, is an overly hostile and arrogant Jedi, who even fails to see that the force controls everything in the star wars galaxy ( he is even corrected by Master Zhar in kotor 1 for believing your characters force sensitivity is simple luck). After the masters make the decision to cut the exile from the force, kreia comes in and completely dominates him and the other two jedi. No wonder the jedi enclave and its order lies in ruins. The jedi were useless against the sith and barely supported the people of the Republic when they had the chance to.

The destruction of the Jedi enclave by Darth Malak, and the deaths of all the Jedi on Dantooine is reflected in this ambience. Dantooine became tainted in the dark side, like Malachor V

If Nar Shaddaa were this vibrant in KOTOR 2 just one big open crimson hub mowing way with your light saber after talking with the refuges now that's how I would of done it!!

Thanks again for the extended soundtrack. Not on the same level of OTJ's though; this one calls for a more serene activity like studying or mindless admin. Recalls World of Warcraft to me in particular, a tune that would fit squarely in Nagrand, for instance.

There is just this feeling of hopelessness and at the same time sympathy when you first set foot on this world. I’ve never experienced that sense of emotion from a video game since.

Isolation, desolation, sinister intentions hanging in the air... This track really sets the tone of the game. Nice touch including the scenes and the ambient sounds in the video!
