Interesting that my dad worked at “Jeopardy!” at the time of the John Davidson “Hollywood Squares.”
Harry worked on Marshall Squares 15 years before Davidson Squares
Johnny Davidson saying "No way!" is like Gilbert Gottfried saying "You fool!" (although that gag started with Penn (& Teller)).

IMDB says that USA movie "A Case For Murder" aired 5/19/93, which would place this airing the day before. (Makes sense...I vaguely remember Davidson Squares, which would've had to be through USA airings, and 1993/94 is about when I think I started catching their game show block regularly.)
Sounds right to me. This was a Tuesday episode, which is what 5/18/93 was. Also, the ad for the Great American Sweepstakes mentions that the trip offered would have to be taken the first week of July 1993.
