** Many viewers were complaining about the music in the original version was too loud, so I re-upload a new version without the music. Enjoy! **
This tutorial series will show you step by step how to make a military pouch from a sphere.
Part 3 of the tutorial will be the last one in the series. I'll finish off by adding the buckle strap in the front, sculpting some wrinkles and applying some fabric details at the end.
I coved quite a bit of topics in this video so feel free to skip to a different part as desire:
- Add stitches: 1:55
- Apply wrinkles: 3:37
- UV Master: 5:51
- Noise Maker: 9:04

Do you want to learn Blender with industry standard Hard Surface Add-Ons? In this tutorial I'll show you how to create this Sci-Fi Remote from start to finish. I'll demonstrate my modeling process and cover how/where I use add-ons like BoxCutter, HardOps, MESHmachine and MACHIN3tools. After we finished the model, I'll use DECALmachine to add details to the model. Here is the link to the course:...

Blender 2.8 How to Move Origin Like A PRO without Add-Ons

I'm so used to how easy you can move the pivot by hold on D and press V to snap to any vertex in Maya. Blender Tutorial - 3 Point Lighting

This tutorial will show you how to quickly setup 3 point lighting in Blender. I have been specialized in hard-surface stuff in the past 16 years of my career and have never done any stylized or anime character before. The character (Loudred Pokemon) I used in this tutorial was made when I followed Follygon's tutorial a couple months ago. Go check it out his channel if you are also interested in...

A superb tutorial that want to know how to get pro renders
thank you for making this. It helps so much.
LOVE YOU
The looping and discontinuous background "music" is stupid, stopping people watching the video.
The tutorial is amazing, thanks... just a remark, the music gets in the way a little.
Thanks
Thank you very much!
the up and down in min 01:53 i cant do it so i use optimal curve
Your tutorials are great! Why stop making them?
Hi, do you happen to know how to snap by vertex without going to edit mode ? The problem with these method is that when you move one of the object in edit mode to snap to other, the origin of the object remain in t he same position. So basically this method is not snaping object to other object by the vertex, it only move the mesh of the object to snap by other object's vertex. So when you move the mesh it will change the origin location of that object relative to the mesh, and I don't want that. thx b4.
Awesome Tutorial
Dang. I thought this was for a real object. Very cool looking though.
love this video i wanted it Thnak you
Subscribed just because of this simple tip :)
Excellent! Thank you for taking the time.
no music Better thx <3
ayy nice, I thought he looked familiar
Thnks u sister
The amount of pain you just saved.... Thank you!
Thanks Carol
How can we turn off the music so we can hear what you're saying?
i thought before...fill is for filling the overshadowed part and then rim placed always at the back of the model. and in this tutorial. you put fill light at behind of the model and before that i thought its a rim light. but i was wrong. it seems like rim to me and then im confused why you add another rim at the opposite side from fill. can you explain why?
Informative tutorial. In the newer versions of Blender, I am not able to move lights and image ref with the gizmo. I had to press G and then move it.
Nice!
Underrated. Coming from Maya the methods in Blender to change the pivot point (or origin as it is called there) are abysmally slow. Would love to see a followup video where you snap the object with such a prepared origin to other objects, components like faces and also with axis constrained positioning - because that's another thing I find cumbersome to do in Blender compared to Maya.
Thank you very much for this tutorial. I will have to try this soon. 🥰👌
Have fun!
can you please do a tactical vest tutorial , there is barely any out there , im kinda struggling , you showed military pouch so easily well done !
Sorry I don't use zbrush that often and certainly not expert. Plus I'm very busy at work and don't have much time to make tutorials anymore.
I am a 2D artist and currently in a process of learning 3D (ZB) I have few concepts that I am planning on converting into 3D (Hard surface/Organic Style) Is there a way I could show you my concepts and have your input on how I could approach through ZBRUSH ?
Sorry I don't use zbrush that often and certainly not expert. There are a lot of artists doing mentoring online, you can try that.
OMG! finally!,,, I can hear your beautiful voice...
Great approach towards thoroughness and comprehensibility in your tutorial. unfortunately the background music being SO LOUD, it was rather challenging to understand your voice. Could you kindly reload the Part 1 with a milder level of the above mentioned ? The Part 2 and 3 seems to be OK.
Sorry about the loud music. I did upload a new version without background music based on other people‘s feedback. Please go to the channel and you will see those. Cheers.
What is the name of addon?
Brilliant 🥰
at least a goood tutorial ! excellent
Thank you Carol!
Muchas gracias
There was a lot to learn in the tutorial. I was confused when using add-ons, but Carol's explanations helped me to sort things out. The add-on workflow was easy to learn because I could check it while working on the add-ons. One thing I found inconvenient in the tutorial was that the indicator that appears when you are pressing a shortcut is only shown for a moment, so I had to rewind many times to see what kind of key push I was doing. But I would be happy to hear about this again in Carol's tutorial. I am glad I purchased this tutorial. キャロル先生ありがとう!Thank U Carol Have a great day!
Thank you for spending the time to write the comment. I'm glad you found this tutorial some what useful. ありがとう
your videos is very helpful. please if you can upload new videos i'm really appreciate.
Thanks. But I'm too busy with work and life stuff so don't have much time to make tutorials lately.
how do i activate the render display?
The dragging to control depth and divisions doesnt work for me, could you explain
cool video!!
nice tutorial👍
when I try to delete at the minute 4:23, everything in this zone is deleted from me, but the square is not created, tell me why it is deleted?
You should make more of these
Why are you rendering with your cpu?
It's a shame at 1:44 you say to activate render display without actually telling us how to do that. The entire rest of the tutorial doesn't work if you don't know how to do that. Very frustrating.
just pressed the last circle on the top right, painted in white
Hey such a nice tutorial!!
Thank you! Cheers!
One thing you didn't do in this video is explain what the various lights are used for in three point lighting. I took a Audio and Video course, which explained it a bit, though I think I forgot most of the reasoning behind why three point light seems to be pretty standard. The only thing I do recall is that the fill light, if I recall correctly, is used to keep the subject's back lite up so you don't get a dark area around them on their back (or something like that). That's especially important for green screening, because darker spots tend not to key out well. The ring light keeps shadows from forming on the side of the body where you don't want them, and I think it's use to create a bit of a shadow on the other side. I might be wrong, but that's what kinda recall.
Thank you for sharing the info.
