'Una Paloma Blanca' makes such a great polka; I only with they had a tuba in the band.

It's polka for polka lovers,but I'm missing the disco connection. Which is a shame, because I was really curious what it would sound like.

I break down in tears hearing music and singing from Hank Haller. He will never be replaced. Thanks to Fred Ziwich for all he contributed to Hank's music productions. Every recording he produced was always first class. Thank you, Hank! Remembering your band at St. Joe Kickers Club and Helen GA Oktoberfests. Thankful I have all recordings to listen to ... every tune 100% Haller & band and it don't get any better. Thanks for your posting.

stan's stash album is the best polka lp ever

Frankie Vadnal 1921-1995 is the guitarist. I worked with Frankie at Addressograph Multigraph in the mid 1970s. Nice person, he was a quiet easy going personality. He composed this tune, he was a fine guitarist. His fame was such that Frankie was featured along with several other guitarists in ad for Gibson guitars.

I remember the Fleet Ave. polka from Paul Nagel's Polka Parade on WJMO.

This is my favorite album of all time. Susie Sinchak captures the essence of Slovak folk music with her slightly nasal singing stlye. John Yanek did a great job and reminded me of my grandfather sitting and singing under the grape arbor on Indianola Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio
