Tack for another interesting video. In a previous episode you said that you were only carrying one pair of shoes. Are you cycling in Crocs also? That was a pretty accurate deer call. I've had the thought that I wish my eyes were a camera too.
Great video content, and your editing is great too 🚲👌
Glad you enjoyed!
Personally, I think energy drinks just give me a quick boost but then I feel like I lose energy soon after, maybe thirty minutes later.
Yeah! And I sweat more. No more energy drinks for me.
@@biketouringnature I've stopped drinking them too.
Thank you for doing these videos, I really enjoy them! The moody music goes great with the Swedish landscapes and forests. I have not done a lot of wild camping, but I have a tent like yours and it is inspiring to see it in the beautiful nature! Take care and have a safe journey.
Thank you! Doing this makes my life so much better😀🌲🍄🏕️🪰
Nice video ! can i ask you which songs did you used for this video? I really like the mood! Thanks !
Thanks! All music on this channel is made by myself with real instruments.
This should be a great adventure 🚲⛺👍
It did not end well😬
@@biketouringnature oh dear 🤔
@@tonypaddler some times the nature is against you for a too long time
@@biketouringnature Yes, I agree.
I really do like this, I would like to do something similar. Is it legal to camp wherever is Sweden?
It's legal everywhere if you pitch the tent atleast 150 meters from where someone lives.
@@biketouringnature Very cool
Really enjoyed Ep 1, and really enjoying Ep 2 💪 And it is amazing that you creat all the music used on your videos! Keep them coming 🙏
Im very happy to read your comment. Thank you! You made it more easy to continue with this work.
@ it’s always a bit bittersweet in the beginning because the views and etc are not there, although we put the work to make a good vídeo. But with some consistency and time, it will start going up and up.
Yeah! You are right. I will still do this in the future even if this was it with wievs and subs. It make me feel good doing this and thats why i continue. But still, it would be nice to get bigger here🏕️🌲🍄😀
@ you will, with time
nice Videos! Which drone do you use?😊
Dji mini 3 pro
Interesting stuff. Totally agree with you that multi-tools are not that great. Reaching certain screws on the bike tend to be awkward or impossible. I find it better to bring loose keys, and a compact screwdriver (you probably need only one anyway). If there's a mishap, having to fiddle with a big clunky multitool will only add to the frustration.
Yeah! I have one that I used before and it only made me angry😀
Love your videos, thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you! Comments like yours help me continue in the hard times.🌲🍄🦉
Hi . I never had anyone question me in the store with all of my bags in the grocery cart. I have even pushed my entire bike up and down the aisles of the store. Thanks Mark from Maryland
Nice to read im not alone with this. Now I know it works in Sweden and USA🌲🍄🪰🏕️😀
Ebike is good and the nature reserve is beautiful!✌
Yes! It's nice to have the ebike as a alternative for different adventures.
9:11 - That barking... The first time I heard it, I thought it was a bird and even looked up at the treetops. I actually have footage of it - quite comical! I've heard it at other times too, and it has even woken me up in the middle of the night. I've used a whistle to scare it off so I could go back to sleep in peace.
Haha. So the whistle works? When I scream like them they keep going on.
@@biketouringnature I can’t say it works every time, but in my case, it did, probably because the deer came very close to me. Since I sleep with earplugs and need complete silence-where even the rustling of trees can disturb my sleep-the barking was loud, sharp, and echoed. It was quite scary to be woken up from a deep sleep. I guess I was just desperate to make it stop!
I have earpluggs with me but just in case. I have never used them. Also tryed before to record the sound but they have been to far away for any good sound recording. I like they still hang around in the suburbs😀
50 days is alot of food.
Yes! I carry food for four or five days.
Odd bicycle, don't see you pedaling
It's a E bike, doesn't have to peddle all the time
Yes! But it feels like bending the rules😆🌲🍄🏕️
very cool
Thanks🌲🍄😁
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁😁
Spooky trip with your new bike
Yeah! But there is so much to do so I don't get scared.
Yes, having the e-bike was fortunate when you became ill. I didn't know that drone videos must be submitted for approval. Is this for the whole of Sweden, or only certain areas? Does it make any difference if someone applies for a drone operators licence? Thanks for a good long video Olle.
Yes! I like that bike. It's for the hole country and it does not matter what licens you have. Right now the waiting list is 80 days
Looks like some sweet cruising, see you on the road.
Yeah! Sweet cruising🌲🍄🐜🏕️
Beautiful country. Ive travelled by bicycle many times in Sweden.
Yes. But I have saved the best places in the north. I will cover all areas and places in sweden in time.
Tack for another video Olle. Did your drone dry out? You also showed dampness in your Abisko tent, and mentioned a leak in your panniers... Ortlieb, aren't they?
Thank you! The drone is fine. I closed the pannier wrong so that a pool of water was on the top. Ortlieb yes. Im very happy with ortlieb and fjällräven.
You need a small camper van for winter travels.
I bet you have to do alot of bike maintenance too, water and grit destroys chains and gears
Yes
You need electric assist on your bike, gud vid 👍
Why?
Its rained alot here in england over the last 18 months, and its been 10 days of hardly having any sunshine..
Chrazy! I hate when the weather get stuck
Beautiful scenery 👍 it seems like the rainy season there 😊 every time raining 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️
Sometimes you are unlucky in the summers
wonderful 😘 your camping tent worked well in rain👍 I am watching from INDIA 😊 your new subscriber 😊
Welcome to the channel! I love India! Are you biketouring there now?
@@biketouringnature thanks...you are always welcome to INDIA 🙏 yes, I just started to ride and I am riding in the local area only trying to get familiar with bicycling 🤓 May be someday I will do bikepacking🤗
@@speakhindieasily I will go to India one more time some time in life but with a touring bike
Will you continue your journey in this season, it is all rain, wet and cold, and what about New Year's Eve? Will you return home?
I'm home editing my new adventure from the south of Sweden. I'm thinking of buying a hot tent so I can dry up in these cold and wet situations.
What tent is that and is it any good for touring in all 4 seasons
It's a "fjällräven abisko wiev 2". Very good 3 season tent.
You are really in a very beautiful area apparently far away from the inhabited world. The support you use for your bike, is that a walking stick or is it a support specially made to use as a bike support?
Yeah it's wonderful. It's a walking stick.
I am a beginner in travel. What do you think of the Msr Nx tent? It is also 3 seasons. Honestly, your tent is better but expensive
I have never used a Msr nx tent so I can't compare. I love abisko view and I have used it a lot
Simply amazing landscape, and the drone shots are fantastic. 3:32 looks like the X-Men have claimed that territory and you’re right in the middle of it-sorry, I've watched too many Marvel movies, smile face. 🙂
Haha. Yeah, I remeber that X. But there was no x-men there. I must have scare them of🤪
Good evening , Do you have a new tent? What type is it? Does it suit you for all seasons?
It's not new but I love it. It's a Fjällräven abisko wiev 2. 3 season tent. I recomend it.
Congrats on the 400 subs. 👍
Thanks! A new 40 day adventure is coming soon😀
Another great video Sir. Do you reccomend the Fjalraven Keb Jacket? Does it hold off the rain while riding?
It hold ok with waterproofing spraying before the adventure. But now one year later I need to waterproof it more often.
@@biketouringnature Thank you for the intel. Fjalraven also do a fjallraven greenland wax which can be applied to G1000 materials such as the Keb jacket.
I am surprised that you are followed by so few. Your trips are an inspiration of what true freedom is.
Thank you! I have many videos prepared for you.
Gud vid 👍
That's exactly how I'd describe cycling in the rain: 'manageable, but not fun'. I guess that last year you toured during July. Here in Värmland, I recorded 24 days when it rained that month. That was the most I'd recorded for any month. That was followed by August with 25 days of rain! I got very lucky last summer during my six week tour, when the only day during late May and the whole of June that saw anything more than a few drops was the last day of June.
Crazy. The problem with the weather in Sweden is that it get stuck all the time😀 this summer was a disaster. All bad things that never went wrong got wrong.
Youth tent looks to have plenty of head room and I am searching for something like this, please let me know the name of the tent you are using. Very enjoyable videos, thank yo👍😉
Thank you! The tent is a fjällräven abisko view 2. I love it.
Watching this one now 👍
Nice
Are there no Bothys around where you can sleep? We have them here in the UK back packers use them.
I never make up fires. But cosy to sleep in between two fires😀🪷🌲🍄🐟
It looks like the river flooded. Lovely area. Gud vid
Around 7:45.... I couldn't see what was hanging from the trees but could it bee that the spring flood raised the river so much that it deposited a bunch of debree all the way up there? That's quite impressive. It must be at least 1.5 meters above the current level.
Man needs free space.
Yeah!
Gud vid👍
Cyklade samma väg förra året! Känner igen det konstanta regnandet och kampen med solpanelerna ;D
Men året innan var det fint väder. Helt annan känsla då. Det äventyret finns på kanalen också
No two legs... Just four legs. 😊 Good.
Is this the first 50 days in a row series or a new 50 days in a row series!?
This is the second.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍1
Thank you!
