i think comparing the original vision of minecraft and terraria is kinda pointless. og minecraft has a very different thing its going for. even though the premise is somewhat similar. it has that lonely feeling and its basically an open sandox. terraria had focus on progression and bosses and items all the way from the start. so it works. but minecraft wasnt meant to be like that imo so now it feels like it has too much stuff thats disjointed. less simple and more overwhelming. terraria has goals so all the stuff makes it so you still feel like you have a direction to go in. idk if that makes sense. terraria has a clearer goal than modern minecraft does. it lost its original appeal and artstyle and charm. now it feels like people want minecraft to be more like terraria even though it was never meant to be from the ground up. wanting mc to be more expansive, more boimes, more items, more objectives. but minecraft was made to be a game with no objective. apart from what you came up with yourself. i love terraria a lot. and also beta mc.

This game is still a lot of fun, and the old textures that look realistic are still there, its in the “theme” setting tab, the fancy theme is the one that looks blocky, and the other one is the original realistic one

no way they actually updated the game to 2.4

Survival craft 2 is difficult. I play dark souls game, but damn its like minecraft, but it's more difficult. That's what it makes it fun and challenging.

this helped a lot unlike some of the other videos that put complex code in the function making it for someone that is starting to lean functions very hard especially if its code beginners don't know yet

I remember I had a skeleton commander arena, I would get a strong NPC inside and when they killed the commander I would steal the XP. They eventually nerfed it in an update. Now you have to kill the mob yourself to get the XP. Also I discovered the floating island by planting trees on top of each other, a real gem of my childhood era...

so like... are you gonna make a void bag?

everything has worked, but when i teleport my part, it still teleports relative to the centre of the block, not the pivot. do you have any ideas to fix this?

I remember playing the mobile version on my moms kindle back in the early 2010s because I couldn’t afford Minecraft full version.

Nowadays if this game could get regular updates in my opinion it could surpass Minecraft based on the current direction it’s taking

Games way harder now . Spawned , no birds , no plants , cold in summer time in regular forest , tried to steal food before starving from a white tiger , died😅 . Really needs more food types , potatos , corn , grubs, apples , dessert fruits , berries, ext. Pumpkins and rye ant cutting it .

Respect to this one man who made the best sandbox game

Yeah,so if u use shaders(I personaly use Complementary Shader)you can use like a framed fence or sum,an place a light block like glowstone,froglight,etc.and u can enhance the experience with Rechisseled and Chisseled,tha give you endless posibileties

tbh seasons should be more extreme in heat and wether and should take elements from dont starve seasons. and the fog looks a it weird when you bellow the layer. i hope kaalus works on these problems seeing as how they are the two major features in this update. tho either way the new update is still pretty amazing!

If anyone is looking a a game similar to this one but a bit more realistic I would recommend checking out vintage story

Looks neat. I've been playing Vintage Story as a successor to the minecraft survival experience and its been amazing. I'll have to check this one out.

i played it 2 years ago already, with friend in Multiplayer , and so it was great, but this game isnt as simple and easy as Minecraft

I have said it for years and i still stand by it, it still does survival BETTER than current Minecraft does. it feels like a continuation of where Minecraft at 2013 left off in terms of what makes survival work.

I wish it had a multiplayer mode

The search bar for the workshop increased the quality of the game tenfold, especially now that we’re probably going to have to wait 2 more years for v2.5

The new version has been released for mobile, it's amazing.

Survivalcraft should add villagers so it's not so lonely lol
