My alarm is saying alarm alarm I've done steps but it says system not reached ?

I have one of your alarms The one which is in this video I have a fault light on all the time I’ve changed the batteries I’ve got rid of the beeping every 30 seconds but I can’t get rid of the fault Light it’s been on for about two years now I change the batteries every eight months roughly can you help me please to get rid of this amber light thank you Gary

My alarm siren randomly goes off even when the alarm is not set. The control panel shows no fault and remains silent. Anyone had this problem?

This video is useless: It's all well and good describing how to adjust the latchplate. BUT there is absolutely NOTHING to show how to adjust the hinges!

Really easy to fit to virtually any door the product is designed for. Unfortunately the product is absolutely garbage and should only be used as a last resort.

Would not recommend, instructions are poor and it certainly doesn’t fit for 90% of doors!

Has anyone had the" System reached none" problem ? When this is displayed there seems to be no way to reset the alarm. Yale don't answer their phones so I got hold of them on twitter and basically they have no idea. Ideas please.

Yale customer helpline totally useless unfortunately! Called because although the sizes match up for max & min between top hook & bottom hook & handle, the connecting rod between centre lock section & top hook would not quite couple [as at 3:41]. Out by about 9/10mm. So phoned helpline & they didn't have a clue! Seems they are only interested in smartlocks now! I suspect that there is a way to do it - otherwise the min/max distances stated are wrong - but the helpline couldn't help! All they could suggest was phoning a locksmith!!

Avoid Yale alarms. As an ssaib company owner with over 30 years in the industry I highly recommend if you want an alarm installed go to a professional ether nsi or ssaib. If you want to have a go yourself the I would recommend you use a pyronix enforcer NOT a Yale. Big big difference. I'd be more then happy to talk you through them if you needed.

Can I do a factory reset on my Yale cctv system

Wireless is great for many applications but one important question is how long the battery last and also the same question about the battery in the sensors? Is there a solar rechargeable version for the system.

Yale Support may be able to help with any questions, though any unit that states "Easy install" but is not easy, just take it back to the shop, or try to speak to a manager at yale. I would suggest ask customer services to put you through to a manager prior to purchasing ... then you get to feel the fun....

Hey NZED ROCK.....I just installed this system for grandmother. Just to confirm you DO need to plug in the main control unit with the power adaptor. The battery inside the unit is a back-up option incase of power outage. It can work for up to 10 hours on its own and it then needs to be recharged. If you don't want wires to show by front door then buy the wireless control pad which can be mounted in a holder by the main door. The main unit can be then 'hidden' near to your telephone master socket (as it needs phone line connection)
