Ottawa needs an elite Goalie who is playing great and they need a blue chip defenseman. Ullmark hasn't worked out, so Ottawa might be interested in acquiring Quick who is playing just as well as Igor, even though he's older. Miller added to the package could make it work.

Might have to add a 3rd, 4th round with Chytil, Kakko along with the 1st, 2nd round plus Miller and future considerations.

The Igor signing will also make coming to the Rangers more attractive for Brady. He wants to be on a playoff team who can win a cup.

Ottawa isn't close to winning a cup or even going to Playoffs the next 4 years. Why would Brady want to waste his career there ? The trade will help both teams. Ottawa doesn't have the team Brady needs to be in the Playoffs and win a cup. The Rangers have players to help Ottawa, but they need Brady in return. It will help both teams to improve and the Rangers will find ways to sweeten the deal. But if Brady demands a trade, then Ottawa has no choice.

It's tough with Mika. Yes his 5v5 production was horrid but look at what he's responsible for every night. PP, PK, Playing against top players, Faceoffs ....etc. The guy is a really high end swiss army knife. Maybe a top 10 "All Around" player in the league. Just the threat of him and CK scoring a short handed goal keeps other teams honest and a little more conservative on their power plays. I want more from Mika offensively but we have to acknowledge how he affects every area of the game. We'll see what happens this season. Didn't help that he was with guys like Wheeler, Roslivic, Kakko.... etc on the top line.

Congrats on 200!!! Looking forward to the good, the bad and the ugly this year. I'll be tuning in all season....keep up the good work.

Only reason he goes to St. Louis is because his dad played for them and it’s his area. Less than a 1% chance he ends up on rangers. It’s njd or St. Louis if he ever leaves.

Sorry for your loss.... As a family full of Devil fans some of us remember game 6 and game 7 of the Devils vs Rangers finals I still (at times) feel the pain.. We won 3 cups since (should've been 5), but when we eliminated the Rangers last year, down 2 games to 0 I felt a little pay back. I personally think the Rangers owners don't care, you guys are fans for life.(they know it) and until you stop buying to a losing team you will get what they give you and be happy.. Maybe your kids will finally wake up and change Jerseys... Our true enemy is not your team it is and always will be the hated Flyers.. Take care..
