@@stockmarketjega4817 when doing a difficult part. Hit the arrow next to the P button and choose a program. set your KV at 100 and your micrograms at 18. This should be a good starting point. When moving to a second coat, choose a different program set the KV to 100 and the micro amps to 3.5 let me know how it goes

@@NoLimitS17 on page 45 and 46 in the manual is the best place to go to learn how to set zero. all manuals can be found online under Support. Or if you have the Gema app you can click on the service button and it will take you to the man. On the side of the control unit it’ll tell you which one you have. Let me know if this helps.

@@يونس-ط5د7ت I have a few questions. Is it mostly on aluminum products when you sandblasted? Are you exceeding the film build specification from the manufacturer? Sometimes when you build too much film back ionization occurs. This means there is too much powder that is charged and cannot dissipate its charge. Super corona helps if you’re trying to build higher mileage without having back nation. Is this a high film build application?

My favorite settings are 100 KV and 3.5 micro amps. I like my air settings around 45% and 3.5 total air. Let me know how it goes.

This is an old video on how to update the software and the Gema control unit. We now have an update to make it easier to always get the latest software. There’s no need to ask if you have the latest software the control unit will always look for the newest one and tell you if it has already updated. Thank you.

I would try it on the complicated setting. Or try 100 KVN 18 UA. Make sure the pump is well-maintained. You can see the video on maintaining the pump on my channel.

Great question. When you are using the Super, corona ring, the gun will be less efficient. It will make the gun run higher micro amps and lower KV. When you have lower KV that means you will get less powder to stick to the part.

Imagine poor grounding on top of that. I've been debating the point of using them when the controlled thickness must be between 2.4-4.8 mils. I question their purpose in this case. Without them you have more control over settings, for one coat systems on a flat sheet good results can be achieved by having say 100Kv and 5-10microamps , especially for metallics. If orange peel/back ionization is a concern, especially for two coat systems then these can be controlled by managing distance to object and staying withing the thickness provided on TDS.

We just need to make sure were using the super corona tool for what it is designed for. Powders over three mils to help reduce orange, peel, and back ionization.

I have had good luck with wheels. It would depend on the wheel and the powder. Maybe for the first coat. On the second coat, you would want to go to recoat setting.

Do you need a minimum of 85 psi?

If you have a dual regulated pressure pot as shown in the video, you can bring full line pressure to the pressure pot. 125psi max

I would imagine you are sandblasting the aluminum. And you’re probably using some type of super durable. You might want to try chemically treating it rather than blasting.

@@jamieargyelan292 QQ, my supplemental air ball won't float. This is a new unit to me, it sprays but can't get that adjustment in the green. Any ideas?

I would assume you have your air settings very low. What is the incoming air pressure? What is the powder set at?
