Started at 215 lbs with 30% body fat and injured with low testosterone and energy, NOW 177 lbs 16% - 17% BF, PR ing every month, best energy ever and no more chronic injury I AM ALSO NOT A COACH. I am an entrepreneur, father and husband getting better BY FOLLOWING THE STAY ACTIVE METHOD. I am glad you are in better shape than me, as I hope you would be as a lifetime fitness Expert.       @un1claudiu great question. Form is beneficial and something that becomes a necessary adaptation over time as the weights get heavier to lift them in the quickest and easiest way possible. Look at Carlos Nassar, powerlifting's multiple WR holder. One of the biggest criticisms people have of him is his "technique" or "form".

      @@UnlockPotential360 The problem I see here is the way people are expressing some classic truths like they are novelty, while also adding a personal twist. For example, young folk may understand from you that each individual must find its own form and technique, without following some mechanical principals or movement concepts. "Just do it like that if you lift better", when in reality you are messing your future potential because of weak foundations. For all those who read this, please keep in mind that mechanical concepts for proper techniques (in any sport) are just regulations; they can be applied in different forms to one's body specifics, but always follow the same concepts (proper rotation of hips, proper curvature of lower back etc.).
