Make sure you dress like a professional and speak like one and wear all of the regulation clothes and accessories. Otherwise, you will find that patients and colleagues will doubt your knowledge, skills and abilities. You will not be taken seriously and you will be doubted. This will lead to colleague and patient problems. So do yourself a favour and act, speak and dress like the upper- middle class doctor that you are.
