Considering "constantly" is the keyword here, I get what you mean. To know there is backup is great & relieving but to constantly depend and seek can be overwhelming for the giver. Good for you to set some boundaries :)

Most likely not! The proposal is still being debated in the parliament and no final decision has yet been made. Don't stress and prepare for your departure. You will just be fine. Stay updated with the new developments and plan ahead. Good luck x

TBH, you don't need to worry if you have an offer for say September intake 2023 because no decision has yet been made with regards to changes to PSW. It's still a proposal and any update that does come will affect future students and not the ones who have offer letters already. As far as job is concerned, I say this to everyone, you need to start applying early and be mindful of applying to companies who have the licence to sponsor your work visa. Use your energy and effort wisely when it comes to apply for jobs and be strategic about it. But never forget this as a starting point, it will be tough because preference is given to local people and others who have residence and work permit. Good luck x

You will need a licensed sponsor to offer your skilled worker visa sponsorship.

@@shivikaapratap Thanks for your response Avika, my dependant visa has validity for more than a year. Shall i choose an employer offering less pay but is a licensed sponsor or shall I take higher offer from a non licensed sponsor?

You need to find a job with a company that sponsors. That is all the help she can give you. Look online on cv library, reed and just look online for jobs in your field. Also it’ll be easier if your job is on the shortage occupation list.

I can’t comment on that because I’m not aware who the agent is. We tend to add more documents to solidify our application so there’s no chance of rejection or doubt.
